Suho definitely could've just stopped but even from episode 1 I noticed he was doing that to both of them and he barely knew either of them at that point. I don't think it was a conscious decision to do it. Bumseok is definitely gone now, I guess.. sadly

Oooh you finally got to the turning point. Bumseok switching up was outta the blue to me at first but looking back i see why he did it. Bumseok and suho first interaction was literally him giving money to help sieun. bumseok has a major inferiority complex due to his toxic enviroment so the whole him not getting a follow back on ig was him feeling unwanted. then you have the scene where gil su tells him he’s inferior to the other two in the police station. a lot of small issues snowballed into this big thing due to miscommunication if he had said something to suho he would’ve understood. Now with the new bullies they’re going to be the “friends” he wanted because of money instead of people who actually care about him🤦‍♀️

suho was definitely not in the wrong he stopped bumseok from crossing the line (rightfully so) i just wish they would’ve communicated to each other😕

the way you went from straight concern for bumseok to wtf at the end LMAOO but with the whole paying thing I think bumseok sees his wealth as the only one up or good characteristic he has over his friends + the bullies he was with at the end... sieun is the smartest and sooho is the best fighter so he wants to bring something too (even though youngyi paying for the party room and sooho offering to pay for dinner shows they don't actively ask him to pay or except it they genuinely just like him as a friend) + the constant mention of being their minion also definitely got to him. also when sooho asked “what did you do wrong” it was rhetorical... but put ur seatbelt on bc ur gonna be losing ur mind for the rest of the show

Omg they can't leave us with that ending😭 I want to know what happens. I am really concerned for Bum Seok. Everyone mentioning he was like a side person for Sieun and Sooho, plus the fact that Sooho didn't follow him and them being so nice to the girl definitely got to him :( He is not used to having friends so I get it. I hope they get to air things out between them because I like their dynamic

Hope you cheer up soon Anthony. 💙 I think one thing this show is great at doing is making you understand how the characters feel and why they feel that way, even if you wish (and I wish) they they handled it in a different way.

I also think bumseok feels he can guarantee friendship with money when it comes to people like the bullies, whereas suho and sieun don’t rely on him for money so the friendship feels like it could slip away any moment. He feels like at least he can win over people with money if nothing else, because of the way he’s been treated all his life and hearing that the two people he truly liked looked down on him over and over definitely got to him. Even though we know that they aren’t looking down on him, and that they truly care for him, bumseok has been made to feel like everyone looks down on him and that he isn’t important his entire life, so things that the rest of us may be able to brush off easier feel huge to him. It makes sense psychologically speaking. I wish he would talk to sieun and suho though. They truly care and they could be family to each other if they can work things out. I know they’d both want to help him be happy and get out of that house. But maybe offering help would make him feel looked down on again, idk.

it really is an unfortunate situation since bumseok was bullied and felt unwanted all his life and didn't know how to deal with those feelings in his new friendship with suho and sieun. it's also why sieun is the only one who knows how to empathize with bumseok to some extent since his home and school life is the most similar to bumseok's comparitively, but at the same time he's never had close friends before so he's not sure of how to navigate these issues either. i hope you feel better though! personally rewatching lighthearted things i know i like helps me calm down and lift my mood up.

for someone like bum that following means a lot, unfortunately. U can follow ole girl u just met but u can’t click follow for me and he has most likely seen bum's request. Then too not only have soo follow her but for him to see Suho and Sieun taking photos with her, the girl who pretty much forced her way in their friendship and the photos r posted on soo's ig while they probably never took selfies with just the three of them yeah, he started to feel he isn’t accepted anymore and feels replaced by her as u said. bum buying isn’t a problem for me simply because it’s not like they r making him do it. He’s offering himself. but I do wish he understood money doesn’t = friendship. He’s in need of friends/acceptance and feels as long as he uses his money they will stay friends with him which keeps him feeling accepted. and now sadly he feels accepted with his current bullies now and not with our friend group..or should i say soo-ah. he doesn't have issues with si-eun. And bum doesn’t like Sooho putting his arm around him cause bullies usually do that to the people they r bullying. we saw it I n in the first episode when Yeongbin wrapped his arms around the 1 kid they were bullying. now i will say i didn't like how soo tried the throw in how he was helping bum in bums face when he was the one who told bum to call them. like if bum asked him to do that ok but going to meet bums old bullies was his idea so him saying" i just spent time helping you" to try and throw it in bums face wasn't cool. NOW be prepared to be really pissed from now on to the last episode.

Him losing his glasses, unfollowing Suho, then drinking away his thoughts was his full transformation into another person. The delinquents don't tell him what to do or to stop crossing the line. They accept him exactly as he is, even his bad traits, and that's all he wants. It really didn't help that he was starting to feel inferior to Suho while the delinquents made him feel like one of them. Even in the webtoon, as soon as he stopped wearing glasses and started gaining the respect of the bullies, he was quick to dump Stephen and Gray to become "cooler" smh a headass in all universes The only thing I can say is that Suho could've been a little less abrasive. Could've stopped putting his arm around Beomseok when he first asked.
