I took a long break before getting to this episode because episode 7 PISSED me off. Obviously glad I continued and honestly I'm pleasantly. surprised with how much I like this ending. Shows like this it's hard not tomess up the end cause you've built up a huge mystery and it all has to make sense and tie up loose ends satisfactorily and this actually does better than most fan theories. it's unknowable enough that no one can say it's impossible (even people who have had near-death experiences since they wouldn't remember) but it's still kind of grounded in something happening in the real world. I am totally fine with this being the end of the show and I think it is I think the Joker thing was just a "LOL gotcha!". If they wanted to continue the best option would be to do some sort of "tales from the Borderlands" spin off and tell other people's stories within this world maybe even in a short form style but for our main characters I love them and I think we should leave them right where they are.

i took it as they were in some sort of purgatory? like the games ARE REAL & if u die in borderland then u actually die irl which is why chota/karube died but if u won the games and decided that u didn’t want to stay in the borderlands then u would “wake up” i guess? maybe the ppl that decided to stay are in some sort of coma? i also don’t think niragi / chisiya remember exactly what happened but i think they felt some sort of change / difference in them. it kinda sucks that they don’t remember but at the same time the whole thing was so traumatic it’s probably better this way. sad that arisu x usagi don’t remember each other but i’m glad they showed that they do find each other again. part of me wants them all to reunite tho like chisiya/kuina they haven’t seen each other since ep 1 and now they don’t even remember one another :( im honestly pleased with the finale. it’s not perfect and i do wish it was a bit longer but im happy with the way it ended. i loved that they showed other examples of what could’ve happened but i feel like the whole purgatory thing was the more “realistic” ending. plus with the way ep 7 ended im just glad my babies are all alive. i also loved that even tho ps: i would love to see u react to aib cast interview videos. there’s not many eng translated but here’s one where tao (usagi) kento (arisu) & the riisa (queen of ❤️) talk about some of the scenes they did. tao & kento have worked together for 10 yrs on 4-5 diff projects. idk if u watched the live action of Orange (movie) but they’re the leads in that link: https://youtu.be/7la6UTZOWxc

u stay cracking me up anytime u make yourself more confused/annoyed than the episode be. u had a full attitude before the game even started😂 this episode was a whole mind journey. loved how their injuries from the explosion transferred in the game someway. (niragi being burned, the girl losing a leg) chi and niragi didn't remember either, they were just speaking in general about how did they feel they changed since they survived. would have been so nice if they all remembered each other tho. and about how people got there at different times, im sure u already probably searched up on it but it all depended on who was hit by the explosion first. all in all this show is freaking amazing, great season. I hope it gets the recognition it deserves since season 1. this should def have the same hype if not more than squid games but that's just me tho 👀

yeah i figured the same thing. u die in borderland, u die in real life from the explosion. at least their actual deaths weren't as messed up as in borderland. u survive the games, u live. and everyone else maybe in a coma until they die in the borderland/ or decide to wake up back to reality. they tied up the show very well.

i believe s2 is getting way more recognition than s1. i believe s1 had like 18 million views in the 1st week and s2 already has 61 million views

this season was great but such a rollercoaster of emotions too, and expect somewhat from the first season.....this episode had me, frustrated for them, feeling like a headless chook whilst on a treadmill at full speed...kinda, don't want to know what games season three may hold, so yeah but thinking, it will be worst off, deck is completed and if, going off a deck of playing cards, will be two and not one of joker/s, I think there'll be more than that, so, the waiting game begins.....
