I concur on the top 3. Fave is a toss up between SKZ and iKON. With iKON, they own the stage with their fun natured natural charisma. It makes you wanna join in but still great execution. SKZ have powerful moves normally but I love their special stage!! The knives...the knives!!! I think TBZ has shown so much I am looking for that next level and hope they deliver it. Maybe they set bar to high before. It makes me feel like I am expecting even more.

I love SF9 and I wanted so much more from that intro stage tbh, but at least it was just an intro. We have a long way to go still. I think having gone through RTK is a huge benefit for The Boyz and it shows. The dancing was the cleanest and the most in sync. SKZ were awesome like they always are. I still don’t see how BTOB 4U is gonna fit into this but I guess we’ll see it unfold

I love the variety they showed already at the start! And I kinda dislike when people compare Road To Kingdom to Kingdom when Queendom should be a better reference to understand Kingdom! Each group came out to show what and who they are! Btob's choice in a live vocal performance was impressive as heck! and iKON fricking came back like the OG days! They killed it and looked like they had the most fun ngl haha! SF9 are also my favs and I can't wait to see what more they have in store, their dancing was phenomenal. Stray Kids was wild tho! They went all out! wow! Ateez did what they're best at and I couldn't be more prouder, their facial expressions are the best! (my votes were actually ikon, sf9, and btob fyi)

Actually BTOB can dance, they decided to do slow songs because they don't like to dance that much lol, and vocals are their forte and makes them different from others groups, but specially because they don't like to dance. Felix... Can that guy voice go lower jeez! And Ikon my mans Killed it!!! I don't like Epick stuffs so I preferred Ikon and BTOB's performance.

Damn I missed this lol thnx for the post. The rearrangement of wave was okay for me, but man I was triggered during Ateez performance they took mingis voice out which I understand but no my heart😂 I liked btb’s vocals but the nervesi felt when the boys came😆 I was like wtf they gone do this time. But suwoos rap sent me and then the the members hands coming into the screen👏🏾👏🏾 ikon stage brought back old school ikon with the flips and just hardcore choreo and I love that. My rank -The boys (damn i don’t even Stan but I just can’t help but put them over my boys but...it’s the fuckin boys😆) -Skz -Ateez -ikon -btob -sf9

BTOB has originally 7 members 2 members are in the military and we lost ilhoon. They have fast paced songs but people mostly know them from their ballads.

Oki. So. I just watched this for the first time with you now. 1. I sure to GOD hope they follow the format of Queendom more than that of Road To Kingdom for this one. (RTK was fun to watch but it overall seemed very stressful and taxing on the participants, although Queendom was also competitive and tough, I feel like the mental strain was much less since no one had to worry about elimination and the contestants themselves also seemed to be able to enjoy the other group’s performances more > instead of looking on in awe-mixed with-dismay, when another group provides a good performance) 2. I personally hope we’ll be seeing more live vocal stages in Kingdom. There were some in RTK, but it was mainly just Pentagon and ONF. The dance aspect is important but performance wise, kpop is comprised of Dance AND Vocal AND Rap, so I really hope all of these elements get to shine. (Sheesh I’m really looking forward to whatever rap Bobby is going to blow everyone’s minds with lol) 3. Please, Holy Heck Mnet. Can we please get Queendom level pixels and not RTK level pixels for this competition?!😭 That was honestly my main pet peeve during RTK. The stages are all so high production so What Is UP with the crappy resolution? 4. Finally the performances this round. The blocking on The Boyz performance was IMPECCABLE. The overhead shots looked awesome and they used their previous experience with this kind of stage setup. I also think I liked this arrangement the best out of all the rearranged songs. SKZ flipping all over the place gave me old JYP flashbacks lmao. To be completely honest though most of the rearrangements just sounded loud and annoying to me. As if someone was trying to punch you in the face like “hA IMpacT” 😅 (That’s why BTOB was a little welcome break for me) I’m an ATINY atiny... ATEEZ as always are the creepy concept kings. I’ve got to give it to them. But I’m kinda done with that now. We’ve had Black Cat Nero, we’ve had their creepy mama performance and all the other creepy stages. Creepy Ateez can freaking creep it’s way out my life now. I don’t want to see them become this one trick pony situation that they are so NOT. I’d love to see brighter concept from them again like Wave or Treasure. Just for some variation ya know? Ikon brought their old vibes back and I’m here. For. It. The all white outfits,... wow that brought me back to freaking Team B days. As for SF9, they’re the group in the lineup I’ve known and supported the longest. I don’t really feel like their performance totally showcased what they can do. But I hope that in future stages they can expand on that and showcase their full potential because they’re honestly so good, as a group they have such satisfying past choreos and their discography is full of legit TaSty flipping songs, so I hope we get to hear some real good stuff from them. Despite everything The Boyz are still currently my number one. I was not expecting that outcome going into this but let’s be real. They MURDERED that stage 👏🏼

ayee thanks for the comments! i never seen queendom so i kinda just expected that all of the shows had this bad quality for the performances lol. it suckssss! i enjoyed bright concept ateez and haven't seen black cat nero and stuff so the dark/creepy ateez isn't too much for me yet aha. the rearrangements are definitely not my cup of tea either so i can feel where you're coming from there as well.

I would say my top 3 are ikon, stray kids and the boyz Ikon was my favorite! They looked very comfortable and carefree just the way I like them. I’m very excited on how kingdom will go down

My top three are stray kids, the boyz, and ateez at the moment. I liked Ikon's stage more watching it with you. SF9's could have been a bit better imo. I'm not sure how BTOB will do on this show since they seem more ballady than shows like this aim for. Hope they're given a fair shot.

i noticed for sf9 that either some or one of their mic packs fell out, but it was cool that it didn't bother them till the end, same thing with bang chan it seems when he flipped i think, no order but i agree with your choice, its a shame the compression of the video kinda took away from the expressions etc but they all did great love btobs vocals, wonder how they will do in dancing compared to the other groups if they do tho lol

The Boyz really never dissapoint wow, the technicality in their choreography and the ease they peform it with is just insane. Definitely gonna root for them in this show, although I love SF9 and Stray Kids as well. I feel like Stray Kids is so great because of their individuality and creativity which sets them apart, ATEEZ has powerful dance and story-telling, and SF9 has the smoothness and synchronization. The Boyz though, I feel like have all of the above. The perfect dance, performance creativity, story-telling, tricks and synchronization. They are finally getting spotlight and proving their worth to the public

BTOB and IKON are older and already legendary so it doesn't make sense to compare performances imo, especially since the standards for the newer groups are very different (mostly when it comes to dance). I'm excited (and scared) to see how the votes will be distributed tho.

I watch it for the first time with you :) so my ranks are 1. BTOB (thank you for showing kpop is not only dance It's hard to see nowadays) 2. Ikon ( It took me back to mix and match time and I miss it) 3. The boyz (they looked less awkward to me) 4. Ateez ( I don't really remember it but I think the performance was good) 5. SF9 ( I like good guy it's the only thing I remember) ex equo with Stray kids ( The performance is good it's just not my vibe and almost no vocal)

I hope iKON will focus on live performances with dance in the shows. They do that better than anyone. This performance from them was so lit. Who else was hyped for YG Hiphop gentleman

Def ikon my favorite! The Boyz, Stray Kids and Ateez did well but idk they seemed very similar to each other so honestly the performances blended together in my memory. The point of these intro stage is to show the groups color and i really feel like ikon did that, brining the hype playful vibe where they play off the audience which i LOVE. Also is it just me but i find it super cringey when they do those close-ups on each member at the end of the performance. Idk it’s just super awk especially since there’s no sound. Also a reason why i liked ikon’s performance a bit better since they didn’t have that LOL
