I actually like this rather than reading the lyrics on first listen. 😂 I hope you react to WayV first full album and NCT Dream's recent album too!

really? when i first got into kpop i HATED listening without knowing because i'm so used to always (for example) judging rappers metaphors, punchlines and wordplay and stuff so coming into music just to listen without LOOKING for something was a challenge for me ahahah - i'm listening to WayV's in a moment as well.

I used to hate it too! But, I realize that I wasnt able to enjoy the music and judge the lyrics instead making me hard to listen to it. That was back then though, I listen to the music first then read the lyrics after. Not fan of the lyrics but if the beats slaps l, then... just slap me. 😂

I actually like 1 Billion Views a lot, not many kpop song have that kind of disco/retro sound to them - super interesting! Say It was right away one of my favourites and Rodeo Station definitely grew on me so these are my top 3. I loved this album and I like that they experiment and change styles. Exo is a strong group vocally so these two don't get as much opportunity to sing so I'm glad that they do that in this sub unit. Thank you for the reaction!

so basically sechan ARE the rappers of exo (along with kai though he does more singing than rapping now), but exo in general have good vocalists all around so expect a lot of singing from them too!

since SM has a reputation for strong vocals even their rappers tend to be versatile in singing. Both solos have MVs as well as Telephone which is pretty cool (the lyrics are pretty cute). I really feel like they have a strong sense of the type of music they want to make as a subunit which is pretty cool and helps them differentiate from Exo who has a strong style as well. My favourite songs are both solos, Telephone & 1 Billion views (so like half the album lol)
