I liked the show a lot, I think it fell off with the time jump but it is what it is I guess. Didn't fuck with soo ah at all at first but she became one of my favorite characters since she was scheming all along and was actually the person that avenged saeroyi's dad at the end. I never cared about who ended with who tbh I just wanted my boy saeroyi to be happy tbh. Geunsoo was a simp from the beginning to the end (I hate that word but it really applies here) and Im happy yiseo apologized for manipulating him.

aha yes, soo-ah really did stay true to that promise - it could even be why she was being that way towards saeroyi with the whole be rich thing - so she can pay his dad off and he could also do what he was trying to do as well - i'd also have to acknowledge how that was wrong and also annoying for the length of time it lasted. guensoo def was wild, and it's good she apologized. i didn't care with who he ended up with either, i just wanted to see how the business would go and if his pops would get any praise or something for the recipes that he made for janga since that meal basically helped them get to where they were at.

during the first watch this was a 8/10 but after rewatching with you it made me realize i like it less than i thought lol so now it's a 7/10... i think they kinda started losing the plot during ep11-12 + too many scenes make me annoyed or just confused BUT the last episode was really well done. oh also the chef at the end with sooah is park bogum he's a really famous actor in korea and korea loves that man and his face a lot, probably why they made his introduction a bit dramatic + he's friends with taehyung and park seojoon(saeroyi)

In a dark, twisted way, I guess this drama portrays sociopaths accurately lol. People around them don't realize they are being manipulated even though it may be clear to others, and easily get everyone's blind devotion. But also, WTF I feel like the message in the last few episodes have been so f-ed up. Like "harass your boss by telling you love him despite him attempting to set CLEAR BOUNDARIES, but don't worry its okay because he secretly wants it". Like just saying if the genders were switched and it was a guy was harassing a girl in the office, uhh wouldn't be cool but nah, its okay because its a dude I guess. Idk why i expected more, I feel like when I watch a popular kdrama i should just accept I'll will be watching senseless character development within a borderline toxic relationship lol. Can't deny the ending overall cute, and it was dope bringing it full circle. and I was happy when Hyeon-yi and Seungwon got together too lol

i really liked this drama, but i do agree that the last few episodes weren’t as good. they just felt really rushed, especially after the time jump after the competition and with saeroi’s feelings for yee-seo. i heard that this was based off of a web toon, so they had to condense a bunch of stuff, but i think if it had been 20 episodes long instead of 16, it would have handled that time skip better, but maybe then it would have lost momentum? idk. overall, it’s still in my top 10 k dramas. if you’re planning on watching more, i HIGHLY recommend Sky Castle, Hwarang (i’m gonna keep bugging you on this one), and Oh My Ghostess. you can watch them all on viki, which is like the netflix for asian films, dramas, and other tv shows.

i heard it was good. i haven’t checked it out yet though. supposed to be a dark high school drama that deals with a lot of heavy subjects

tbh i wouldve preferred him to end up with sooah over yiseo just because it'd be interesting to see her finally "lose." it also kinda sucks since saeroyi kinda promised sooah that he'd do all that for her only for him to get with some other girl LMAO but at the end of the day she had the chance to be more transparent with him and her intentions and she didnt. its nice to see them have happy separate endings though. as for dramas, i know youre probably gonna continue with w + goblin, but recs i have for you are 'signal' and 'pinnochio' !!! both of them revolve around corruption, but pinnochio involves romance whereas signal is just a crime thriller.

my drama recs are definitely sky castle (one of the best ive ever seen tbh, if not the best) and extracurricular! extracurricular isnt my favorite drama but i really like it because it's definitely,,, not what you expect it to be and i love that. i think itd be reallyyyy fun to see you watch it

I liked the drama overall, but yiseo did annoy me the whole time. She had her moments when she was cute but most of the time not so much.. I know she's a sociopath, so it's hard for her. even at the end when she ditch geunsoo that was kinda mmmkay I get it but mmkay then when saeroyi stops a whole suv with a brick LOL yeA okay. I do like that she only changed a little bit at the end and didn't completely change because it would made me feel like she wasn't actually a sociopath. even tho i understand her condition doesnt mean she doesnt annoy me lol but I would give it a 8/10 just because i think the beginning of the series started off well. Now for new dramas to watch I would def recommend Extracurricular, main characters are pretty young and relatable, the main girl will prolly annoy you again becuz she annoyed me but she has a more likable side than yiseo did. but I liked it more than itaewon class I watched it all in one night rly grabs your attention. Second would be Strangers from Hell, both this and Extra are on netflix btw. This one is just a really interesting watch and I could really relate with the main character and the older lady's personality reminded me lot of my teacher LOL which was kinda scary for me.. Third is obv Sky Castle, it's good a little more dramay but good drama lol it's popular for a reason WE ALL LIE. I recommend watching all three even if you dont put it on patreon. But I would start with extracurricular I think u would have some good reactions to that.
