i do believe that an mv will be dropping along with a live performance on monday (?). and usually i would agree that repetition can be a bit bothersome, but i surprisingly didn't particularly care in this. i think it might be because i just enjoyed the melody a lot. and what really sold the song for me was the ending where jimin and jungkook were harmonizing, i just really like how it sounds when their voices blend togehter.

Agreed for the most part I love some of their other Japanese songs more but this is a good pre-release. The harmonies on their Japanese stuff are some of my favourite.

Were they really? There was a lot of overlaying going on at the time, but Jimin's tone is very present within the mix during the vocal area I'm referring to. I see that Kookie is listed as having done the general backing vocals and can hear him in the back-back as well though. I guess the trouble is not knowing exactly which layer is being highlighted by Anthony, but I figured it was the really high, fluttering falsetto belt since it's so striking. That could be considered as more of an ad-lib than a background vocal though, hm? And also not very background-y. I dunno. Either way, it was all beautiful.
