I understand your frustration with geunsoo, but If I remember correctly in the webtoons which this was based on he changed personality after the time skip. He had not seen the people from danbam for a while and he became meaner. Also with that friend with the transphobic tendency, I think that's because of Korea's conservatism and his conflict with having feelings for her (though that does not excuse it)

that song was taes ost! tae had said on a vlive(?) that he wanted to do an ost for ic and it was recently talked about on some korean variety program that it wasn’t planned for him to do an ost, but park seojoon (saeroi) one day just asked if tae could do it & the director agreed!

every time yiseo and sooah have a scene together it's just a fight of who can be the bigger weirdo... also an interesting take i saw on twt when this was airing is that this show tried to fit a bunch of social issues in but never gave a proper conversation about the issue like they would slide in an issue but they wouldn't deep it and will just end it with an "i'm sorry" or a momentarily inspiring line/action

Geunwon was so scary in this episode. And what hit me the hardest was how terrified the nerdy guy was of him but geunwon couldn't even remember who he was. Also Yiseo read soo ah like a book, I know she was embarassed.

i think scar guy is kinda the embodiment of the whole “i don’t agree with your lifestyle, but live your life” type of (bullshit) attitude that some people have when it comes to lgbt+ people. but given how conservative korea still is, i think this was a way for the writers to help the korean public digest the idea of a trans person? idk, i’d have to look into that more. but i was also super thrown off by the time skip. i kinda wish that they had put hyun-yi winning the competition at the end of the previous episode, but i understand time constraints. looking forward to the rest of this man. it’s gonna get wild.

They had no choice with the time jump because they spent too much airtime in the previous eps without moving the plot at all haha. Cant wait for your reaction to how this all wraps up

i think that’s true tho- i’ve heard somewhere else before like a bully or someone who does someone very bad often doesn’t even keep that person in memory - but the people affected could cling to it and it’s hard to forget even if they wanted to. that’s not the way it was explained but i’m tired and i don’t remember it exactly LOL. she was embarrassed she pulled her card. their petty dinners are so funny lmao. guenwon was scary this ep tho- i wonder what the gang and him did i hope they explain

yeaaaah i was wonderin .... he KEEPS going out his way to call her pretty - it showed when he was drunk too... i was thinking like he had always been weird since the club incident - i had a feeling he liked her lol but nah see i didn’t read the web toons so this version of guensoo is dirty!! how long was he away from them in the webtoon? cause he just really threw them away and burned the trash can

In my opinion, i think saeroyi isn’t being open with not liking yiseo here i just feel like he’s so used to liking sooah that he’s feeling conflicted about how he feels about yiseo. And i kinda hate sooah for the whole “come to me when you’re rich” or whatever i liked how yiseo called her out for it.

oh mannnn hm 😂 well for one, I was surprised by the time jump too bc im not used to seeing them in dramas but I get why they had to do one. I wish they would’ve gave hyun yi a better wig too bc 😭 as far as yiseo...I’m gonna advocate for her, not bc I like her (god I don’t) but just to help you kinda understand what’s going on: so basically that fight between her and sooah is supposed to show that yiseo cares and supports saeroi through actions, she pushes him towards his dream and helps him. meanwhile sooah claims to like him but never does anything to actually support his dream and even tells him to give up. tbh i did think yiseo made some points during that argument & I did agree w her. also i feel like the whole yiseo telling saeroi that she can’t fire him so he has to deal with her liking him,, I know it seems kinda gross but I think it’s supposed to show her side of insecurity & childishness. plus she has a point...saeroi could fire her if he’s really uncomfortable & I don’t think it bothers him as much since you can see him even get flustered at times. geunsoo...man i don’t have words for that 😭

what frustrates me is the fact that the writers of this drama clearly think they're being super "woke" about these social issues (racism, transphobia, etc.) simply by even addressing them. but honestly, the way they've handled said issues has almost been as harmful as ignoring them altogether imo. how yiseo's blatant racism was written off as her “being mean” and then praising her for a shitty apology and one (1) post online?? no one even called her spiteful actions out properly. i thought they had good stuff going with hyunyi’s plot line when saeroyi held that staff meeting, but they ruined it with seungkwon’s weird ass speech abt her defying nature like??? i know shit is going downhill when they put inspirational music over some wack dialogue lmao. anyway the actor who plays jangga's chairman also played bongsoon’s dad in strong woman and im not over it thanks for comin 2 the ted talk

it's just that in Korea that really are so soooo closed that seeing those type of things in a drama would open their minds a little more . Th's why they are shook when she said that she is trans and for Yi seo I think that she endorse the role of those Korean who does all the mistake and she shows that you can grow even if it's based on her love for saeroyi she grows to be a better person, to understand more other and to open her mind more like sometimes some people arrive in your life and change you for a better you. And I think that Saeroyi is just thinking that he love Sohaa but I think that he is just used to her. And tbh I think that they always put the blame on yi seo like for everything as if she had forced them like for Geun Soo she always told him that she like Saeyori but he is yelling at her as if he wasn't the one who did something terrible and unforgivable.
