the alcoholic dad bought a block of coal if youre still wondering. also i had the same reaction as you to him rejecting yi seo. yi seo literally tried to get rid of every member of his team at some point in the show up until this ep. i dont think her character is likeable at all lol

I love Yi Seo character 🤣 she is one of my favorites in the show and I felt for her so bad in this episode. I remember I was outed to my crush and the rejection was horrible. Idk I never had a problem with her. At least you know what type of person she is and had strong personality. I feel like Soo ah just blends in and so bland. Just moving a long with Jangga no matter what.

agreed, sooah is boring and constantly a one note character. She is the same as she was since episode one. Yiseo you can see her changing a lot, we learn different sides to her and she catches us by surprise often (in a good or bad way). She's way more interesting to me and remains my favorite.

I think I was able to like Yi Seo more primarily because I never took the fact that she was diagnosed with sociopathic traits lightly. If you pair the diagnoses with her character, she makes sense and the fact that she has been enabled by her mom, didn't help. So the mere fact that she grows to love and appreciate each member for who they are rather than what they can do for her and her goal, makes her more lovable to me :D

I hope that you would take more in consideration that Yi Seo is a Sociopath that's whys she have some trouble to understand other's people feeling but you see that she is growing and learning ...

I know I'm like.. about a month late to this reaction, but to address your question on whether or not a sociopath can just stop being a certain way, from what I know, technically the answer is yes. The journey to resisting those urges to play upon and manipulate those around them can be really, really tough for them though, depending on how well they're able to control themselves and how they see those around them. I'm pretty sure that varies from one to another. Either way, when there is a person, or group of people, that they value and consider to be very close, it's definitely more doable than not since they don't want to cause them unnecessary pain.

Geun-soo and the dinner scene is my fav part of ep 11. my boy made sure yiseo remembered playing with his heart., like as long as u remember u said u will be with me after i take over jangga I'm goo, lol. . i still didn't like it when she did that tho. like she knew not only that she would never date geun-soo so for her to tell him u have a chance if u take control was messed up knowing she knew how much he liked her.
