From this episode onwards, I started to hate Saeroyi’s childhood love lol.

Jeonstastic

ahhh loved the reaction as always but ngl I cringed everytime Paul said “he/she” 😳 her pronouns are she/her but I know you guys weren’t trying to be disrespectful <3 looking forward to the other reactions!

I actually think the way he referred was correct because he was still a 'boy' in the transition to become a girl so he/she sound correct. If you look it up, the way that Paul used is correct, "they, he/she, or just simply go by the name".

Jeonstastic

@iFer yes, I understand what you are saying. But at the same time, “they” is a more respectful way to address those who are transitioning. In the lgbtq community, the term he-she can be very offensive. I know Paul did not mean it in that way ❤️

112 is specifically for the police and 119 is for emergencies and ambulances and whatnot. im so excited for yall to finish this show, its sooo good

imani

to be fair, there may not be many trans ppl in korea who are actually comfortable with acting or putting themselves out there like that, especially with their society. so i actually really respect the actress for taking on the role because of how stigmatized it is, despite the lack of representation

this episode made me hate yi-seo. i see alot of people still like her but that stuff she pulled with hyun-yi made me so mad. it's one thing as the manager to be serious about the food but she kept making it about hyun-yi being trans. they showed soo ah wasn't a snake and made me stop liking yi-seo all in the same ep. it's obvious soo ah has her own issues she has to work through so obviously her and saeroyi can't be together at this moment but ion want him to end up with yi-seo either. 1.) bc she a transphobe (them showing her helping hyun-yi doesn't change her going out of her way trying to get them fired) and 2.) she was just getting out of high school while saeroyi was already almost 30. i wish he could just be with neither at the end but this seems like a romance so as well so it has to happen :(

Suzanne Austen

Thats why I don't like Soo ah because in order for Saeroyi to be with her, HE has to do everything for her, like take down Jangga Group, become rich, and whatever else she asks for. Yi Seo is the one doing everything and helping Saeroyi by his side instead of letting him deal with it by himself and she's not asking for anything in return for his love and she's putting him before her as well as caring for herself

i was quite mad at yiseo, but depending on how her character changes in the show, i think she can grow and learn and if she does, then i'll like her again. I still hate soo ah, if anything, i dislike her even more cause she didn't even call the cops and it felt like she used that to prove something to yiseo. The fact that she's nearly 30 and just as childish as yiseo -- at least yiseo has somewhat an excuse. I feel like yiseo is just ignorant when it comes to the lgbtq community, and everyone else in the show was also ignorant, not just her. She went in harder, which is worse, but if people excuse the others, they should excuse her too. I was kind of mad at everyone, but i remember korea in very conservative still, so i stepped back and im waiting. still havent finished the show so.

can't wait for ep. 6 :)))

Loving these reactions! Thank you for making them! Its so cool to see transgender representation in a korean drama, especially since LGBTQ+ issues are a really sticky subject in Korea

this was the ep that made me official DONE with Yiseo like other than what she said about hyun-yi and being rude 24/7 to geun-soo whos always by her side and hating on him for something his family did knowing that he didn’t have anything to do with that?? also lmaooo not her pulling the harassment card at the end when she kissed saeroyi while he was unconscious. and let me stop here cuz i dont want to spoil anything but her character just kept getting worse for me from here till the end of the show i just found her immature, inconsiderate and annoying. soo ah on the other hand i cant help but feel for her, i believe she said those things to saeroyi cuz she wanted him to be mad enough that he would cut things with her so she doesnt have to struggle between her work and him even tho she could balance between those things, her character is so mature i found it really hard to not sympathize with her i loved her character even tho saeroyi allowed her to do what she gotta do for her job even if that means snitching on him (kind cant blame her cuz he bluntly allowed her) i think she could’ve made a couple better minor choices. she is in the gray area, she’s not bad but yet she does things that makes u think she isnt good either and i think her character is written like that to make ppl feel conflicted towards her cuz shes in conflict herself.
