i mean hey, sure we wanted more.. but atleast rap line hyped up joon, tae stood up and did his thang and they looked to have not only had the best part of that stage but enjoyed themself. -- - - still wanted black swan live :( lol

I’m bummed they didn’t get more time, but super thankful that Lil Nas X was cool enough to have them perform with him and also let them have the stage when it was their turn in the song. They looked like they had a blast! Lol, also Jimin and Jungkook’s vocals and adlibs when they were singing with Joon were AMAZING! Lastly, their outfits! I can’t even. I think Tae’s had to be my favorite. 🥰💜

It's kinda disappointing because we all want American audiences to see BTS as serious artists and appreciate them but when they perform a song like Old Town Road at the Grammys, it kinda downplays their talent and success. Either way, they seemed like they had fun (I guess that's what really matters) and hopefully next year they get a Grammy nom and a performance. Also, are you gonna react to them on James Corden on Tuesday?

Their voices sounded so good! Best part of that performance hands down! The Grammys is not a big enough stage for their huge talent at this point and it really shows. I mean, they gave like 20% of how much they usually give and still stole the show lol. But I'm really proud they made this step forward since...on paper....performing at the Grammys is a big deal. Especially as non-American artists! Again...sooooo proud

i mean, they've performed in so many award shows in america so many times, if americans don't see it by now, they never will lol. They seemed happier performing here than i've ever seen them tbh. They looked genuinely hyped and excited.

I'm honestly not sure if they're enlisting or not but I think that the rest of the members would still promote if they were missing a member so it's possible that they could still perform and it's definitely possible to get a nomination.

Yeah I kinda agree but I was just hoping this Grammy performance would give BTS a chance to really show their abilities to people who still know nothing about them, and yeah they definitely looked really happy performing as this has been a goal of theirs for so long, that's why it made me kinda mad that so many armies where boycotting the Grammys. Also, you're a youtuber, right? I've watched a few of your reaction videos, funny running into you here!

Yea even though this is amazing for them, it wasn’t what I wanted but it was also not surprising. Hopefully one day an American award show gives them the free reign to show how talented, powerful and wonderful their performances can be. i understand that we should be grateful of what we /did/ get but come on,, hobi "looking like he's having a good time" could easily be faked or at the very least exaggerated but that's just me

I think that the Recording Academy? (if I get something wrong, I'm sorry I'm exhausted) didn't really like that Namjoon made the comment we'll be back next year. I think they thought they could use BTS for views last year and that would be fine. Then BTS didn't get nominated this year and all hell broke loose. I mean Rolling Stones magazine tore the Grammys a new one several times and so did other reputable music magazines and such. From what I have heard Lil Nas X actually asked for them to be on stage with him because he wanted everyone that had done a version of the song up there with him. I also kinda think it was his little way of saying FUCK YOU to the Grammys for snubbing BTS. Several magazines and other entertainment outlets have made it clear that they expect BTS at the Grammys next year and not just to perform. If they get snubbed next year the Grammys will become even more of a joke than they already are. All that said, I am glad they got to perform.

I do want to say that I do think that Hobi was actually having a good time, I know they had to be angry or disappointed but also, sadly, they are very used to being shoved down and treated lesser than even in Korea. I do think they had a good time on stage with Lil Nas X, There are certain tells that each member has when they aren't actually happy or having a good time, they are better at hiding it while performing but they are still there. Also the amount of SHADE that Joon has thrown the Grammys way has been fantastic.
