They keep dragging the case and it's frustrating!!!

omg the story behind the heart in the kiss scene is so damn funny XDDD like the actors kept bickering on set cuz park hyungsik (prez) was like "i drew it so perfectly! what did u do to my heart!" XDD and no matter how hard she tried the heart always ended up looking weird lmaooooo. They are so funny irl too lmaoo like they pretty much tease each other and behave the same way XDDD

This ep was more like a filler but at least it gave us sweet moments. The whole monk thing tho, what’s the point in that ? Frankly I feel we’ve seen enough of them, they just get weirder and weirder

Itami

oh and that dream scene that had you confused.. it was one of those dreams u know where you are just watching what is going on like a movie from a 3rd party angle and cant move or do anything yourself in the dream. He watched her getting hurt in the dream and was tryng to tell her to use her power to save herself. The dream is probably what also gets him a little bit paranoid and protective.. u know like a gut feeling and we all know those are never wrong

The whole fake Indian monk was really an unnecessary addition to the drama. It's the only thing that I really dislike about this drama

Samara Gooch

It wasn't spoiled really, Hee Ji wasn't carrying a suitcase but her cello so we knew it wasn't her taken in the last episode and we knew her friend was leaving to head home to Busan.

K and G in Korean are the same character read either K or G depending on its position in a word. At the beginning of the word it's more of a K but since romanization is stupid people use either, or. I highly recommend learning Hangul, it's considered the easiest alphabet in the world. Give it a couple of hours and you'll be able to read and write pretty well...a few days and you might be an expert lol.

What about the EXTREMELY cringy gay stereotype? Or the frustrating gender roles? There's a lot wrong with this drama...I never even finished it by myself since I couldn't deal with it but it's fun to watch Anthony react to a Kdrama...althought I don't get why this one was voted. Can't wait for W...Goblin as well.

Anthony: *disgusted face* Also Anthony: good for them

I thought the same thing when he drew the heart; I kept thinking it was gonna wash away or something 😂

The difference in language is what really makes it obvious which relationship would be healthier. Gook-do: "You are just a weak girl, so I must protect you." Min-hyuk: "I know you are strong, but you're someone I feel like I need to protect." You don't have to put her down to make yourself look like a valuable person to have around. That's manipulative.

this episode I feel is really the turning point of the show. I really agree with the others that the show has its faults, but all in all I really enjoyed it. I first watched it before I began learning Korean, and now, over a year later, it's surprising how much more I understand and how much better my understanding makes the show. For example, when Bong-Soon continues calling him 'Mr. Ahn' she's actually saying 대표님 which is "Mr. President" basically. And all the talk of speaking informally vs. speaking formally, which is hard to tell/understand via subtitles. And how Min Hyuk is in her phone as "반말갑질" and it's always annotated as "rude boss", but 반말 is "informal" and 갑질 is "bossy" so it's more like, "informal and bossy." I get why the caption it as "rude boss" but that's not EXACTLY what she has him in there as.

same. Like I have been a Kpop fan since 2017 and I have never actively learned Korean except for 한글, but I seem to be pretty good at picking up words and stuff so I also understood all of these. Especially knowing what 반말 and 존댓말 is and recognizing when it's used is kind of important sometimes cause it can't be translated and a lot of situations are often based on this certain topic so you'll obviously have no idea what they're talking about if you don't know recognize when they are speaking formally/informally

strange& sleepless

agree. Like, I feel like he never meant any harm by that but he genuinely just see's/saw her as a weak girl that needs to be protected and nothing more.

Did you know that Park hyungsik(the president) and V from Bts are good friends? They played in a drama together and they seem to be really close

glad we can agree that that was the ugliest heart ever drawn in the sand
