The knife thing is because in Korea, depending on the age range the show is aimed towards, there's a lot of censorship. Weapons, blood, even cigarettes have to be blurred out. But I've seen dramas where pistols aren't blurred and knives are, and I think it's because you can find a knife anywhere and guns are harder to put your hands on. They are trying to avoid putting ideas on people's heads that lead to violence--even though we all know it's a knife and this rule doesn't make much sense at all. And I think it was really respectable that the president didn't kiss her in the hospital room. He knows she isn't sure about her feelings yet, and he could tell she was tense. She was making fists and pretty stiff, despite closing her eyes. She wasn't ready. So he's respecting that. I prefer that over male leads just forcing kisses on the woman they like while fully knowing they don't actually want it at that moment. "She's mine to protect" - Well, he *has* known her since they were kids. And he's always liked her, but he didn't realize it until now. It's pretty obvious he's not good at managing emotions; he's a rational kind of guy, which is very useful in his work but not his personal life. So, of course, he doesn't know how to deal with his jealousy. But he's doing his best... He tried to make Bong Soon feel at ease about her powers, for example. He's really trying; he doesn't say things because he's a bad guy or anything like that.

your reaction to Gook Doo at the end 😂 ngl though i'm actually gonna be kind of sad if you don't like his character by the end, the boy be trying just going about things the wrong way sometimes ... also with a lot of kdramas with romance, they love a good slow burn 😂

One thing I do enjoy is that despite Gook-do being such an obnoxious, dislikable character, he's still a good character because we aren't compelled to see his actions as excusable. Sure, we might be able to understand him a bit more as the show goes on, but they don't make excuses for him being a bad friend. We want her to get with the president because that's clearly a healthier relationship. I appreciate that.

Don't forget his team was taken off the case and the other team made the arrest and they aren't privy to the new information GD's team has. Also realise they aren't allowed to enter private property and search without a warrant so their hands are tied by red tape. All kdramas i've watched make the police seem incompetent and slow and they probably are at times but also they get held down by red tape. Not like American cops who can even shoot an unarmed man in the back and get away with pulling the "i feared for my life" card. Gook Doo is an idiot to think she is his to protect, he had all that time to create an opportunity so needs to get over himself now that it seems it's too late. The reason our MInMIn is holding himself back in that hospital room scene is because he want's her to close the door on GD first. He is in it for the long game :)

I don’t know where to make suggestions, but a good drama to add to your list is “W”. It’s about a girl and she is living between her dad’s comic book and real life. It has really good actors and I think you would really like it. Love your videos and keep up the good content!!!💕❤️

W is amazing, much better than Goblin imo but I'll watch you react to both, no problem. Also, if you ever want to watch Kdramas that are pretty different from the usual formula, I recommend Age of Youth (aka Hello, My Twenties), The Lover (very relatable and raunchy humor,) School 2013 (it's just great despite the bland title), and I Can Hear Your Voice (older woman/younger guy relationship and one of the best villains in Kdrama world lol.) And I know you've heard of this one, but Weightlifting Fairy is much much mUCH better than Strong Woman lol. Oh, almost forgot! Tamra the Island is quite a special one as well since it's the one Kdrama that features a non-Asian character in a main role. So underrated!

damnn I finally got to watch thisss! I get your confusion over the hospital scene betw bong soon and prez cuz the pacing of romance in general mediums and in kdramas is way different. Kdramas really take it slow and sort of explore ever little change in feelings i guess. It's kind of like while the prez knew he had a thing for her before, he's now realising how much he really likes her, meanwhile as u said "her feelings are also finally surfacing". And what's holding him back from fully acting on his feelings is her obvious and annoying crush on Gook Doo.

There is ALWAYS a lot of awkward staring in Dramas xD You'll get used to it. Also another drama I'd recommend which is in some ways similar to this is 'He is psychometric' I enjoyed that one a lot. It's also about crimes and the lead guy is telepathic and a little romance is in there too. And fun fact the lead guy is Got7's jinyoung
