oh yay!!!!! So happy you decided on Haikyuu first! I used to be on the front with sports anime, cuz I don't even watch any sports on tv lol, but one night a friend and I got to watvhing Haikyuu and we were more into the games on the show than I have been ever in real life! haha the characters are so entertaining and the development is really good. It's a definite fave of mine. :)

First, Haikyuu!! Is my absolute favorite anime! (It’s the reason I’m playing volleyball in college this year. It kept me passionate about the sport) Second, I’ve never heard a second of the show dubbed and I highkey hate u for making me experience that lmfao

Subbed are so much better, there is just so much that gets lost in the translation since japanese is so complex and the subbers usually explains more than it is possible when it is dubbed. But have to agree with Elwad: you are probably the only one that can make me watch a dubbed anime ;)

This is my first time watching this too, and I gotta say it's not that bad so far. Honestly, as long as dub is decent, I don't care.

this is one of my favorite anime series!! im so happy to watch it again w you 😭😭 im the type of person that watches a show for the characters, and this anime has so many great ones! ngl, the plot is pretty standard for the sports genre so far, but like everyone else commented the character development and relationships is so worth it! cant wait to see if you have a favorite and who its gonna be 👀
