yo... i know what you may be thinking. why do you keep adding things to checkout when you haven't finished like 3 series...

yes.

i love anime, maybe some of you love anime, i'd like more people to talk about anime with, and i've actually been slacking in terms of shows to checkout - i haven't seen a lot of classics.. so, if you guys would be down to add anime to the mix of videos here, please let me know! feel free to comment some recommendations too (here are all the anime that i've seen on my kitsu! https://kitsu.io/users/191673/library )

anime reactions would be so cool! i really think you’d like food wars, it’s one of my top favs, and haikyuu is my number 1 fav but i’m not sure you’d like it but i do recommend!! 😊

I’d recommend Saiki K, it’s really weird sometimes but so funny!!

Baccano! - mind-bending story with messed-up plotline (as far as I remember) Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress - steampunk, zombies and engaging story Erased - crime-story with time jumps, very satisfying (there is a live-action rendition 1:1 on Netflix) Higashi no Eden (Eden of the East) - very unusual, secret-organization, mind-wiping, searching for ones origin and purpose. The Wallflower (Perfect Girl Evolution) - the comedy in this one is just outstanding, it is unusual for the school/flower boys concept, sometimes the artwork seems lazy, but it fits into the comedic outcome, there is also a live action remake. Chibi Vampire Karin - cute love story, but with a lot of comedy in between

I saw that you had Mononoke hime on your want to watch list, really recommend it! I cant deiced if I prefer that one or Spirited Away more but they are my top 2 from Hayao Miyazaki :D

Code geass : the plot is amazing; the principal character is smart af and charismatic and it has one of the best ends ever. It’s also full of plot twists

Yu Yu Hakusho. Its one of my favorites. I watched it as a kid and even now, over 15 years later, it still holds up as one of the best shounen anime of all time.

i followed you on kitsu and bro,,,, theres so much of the anime world you havent seen yet!! this is gonna be fun lol after seeing some of your lists, more than anything id recommend samurai champloo (the ost is *chefs kiss*) and princess mononoke (classic movie, absolutely beautiful). other classic shit: lighter stuff - haikyuu, katekyo hitman reborn, usagi drop, natsume book of friends, FLCL that dark shit- neon evangelion, elfen lied, when they cry, berserk, psycho pass, death parade

omg I’d recommend so many idek where to start! but my kind of anime is a little bit um... sad and at times pretty morbid and dark but since you said you’re down with anything I’m just gonna list down my recs (also, I’m more of a movie person than a series one but I’ll still give you a few that I like): Perfect Blue is one of my current fav anime movie, it’s a classic but it’s pyschological horror themed. same goes for Paprika, it’s made by the same guy. since you’ve watched Akira, I’d recommend you Redline and Ghost in the Shell 1995. sci-fi/action type classics. I see that you also have Patema Inverted, Dokyuusei, Wolf Children, Into the Forest of Fireflies’ Light and Howl’s Moving Castle in your list so I’d rec you those as well lol. also, call me biased but pretty much every other Studio Ghibli movies 😂 idk if you’ve watched Marquia: When the Promise Flower Blooms but if you haven’t then it’s a really good one! for series they’re a bit more fun and fast-paced: since you also have Fate/Stay Night so I’d recommend every Fate Series 🤣 but my favorite has got to be Stay Night and Grand Order. Yakitate!! Japan is really funny! it’s about a kid from a small town with superpower hands who wants to be a baker so he went to the city to join a baking competition lol. La Corda D’oro Primo Passo is also nice, music school anime kind of a thing. not sure if you’ve watched Air Gear as well but if you haven’t then here you go 😂 it’s about Rollerblading but level 9000 lmao. Slam Dunk and Haikyuu, no? 🥺 basketball anime! Paradise Kiss is a fashion anime but it’s kind of 18+ in some episodes so lol but hey it’s still a good one though. Shugo Chara is also nice if you’re into that chibi-fairy highschool anime lol Hayate No Gotoku - it’s about a combat butler, romance-comedy anime 😂 that’s all i have for you, there’s actually one more series but i forgot the title for whatever reason lmao anyway enjoy!

For some classic anime, please check out Yu Yu Hakusho!!! The dub is iconic 👌A series made by the same creator, HunterXHunter, is also a must watch! Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood is fantastic with a really well written story, I also recommend that series as well!

I just realized that you put yuri on ice on hold. Do you plan on continuing? I hope you do, it’s really fun to watch it was really good. Season 2 comes out mid 2021 and the movie I think is coming out later this year.
