jyp isn't without fault in the way the manage the company, no one is, but comparatively their artists have a lot more freedom, a lot more opportunities to express themselves individually; they are a lot less strict and a lot more comfortable, so i personally don't see how the last performance was forced in any way. i think it's also worth noting that there's minimal awkwardness between male and female idols in the company. yg, for instance, would be less likely to put together a performance like that because they discourage ikon and blackpink from even bumping into each other at the company building lmao

I was waiting for your reaction to Jae rapping hahaha he’s rapped a couple of times in previous DAY6 songs. The girl you asked for, her name is Chaeyoung from Twice.

That's chaeyoung !! my baby from twice please stan her you won't regret !! she's so charming

Out of all the BIG3 companies in my opinion JYP treats his groups the best and JYP is favourite company in terms of unity and genuine closeness between their idols

A lot of the JYP idols and groups are actually friends! Most trained together before debuting in their respective groups like Chan from Stray Kids trained with Bam Bam and Yugyeom ect and he also trained with Twice as well. Got7 and Day6 trained together so they're all pretty close if not at least fairly friendly with each other!

Changbin imo is the best rapper jyp has ever produced. He always steals my attention in every performance. In the past, jyp rappers were the typical idol rappers, weakest vocalists in their groups, so rappers by default. I think jyp must have invested in better rap training or something bc skz has some really talented rappers. This JYP special was actually a bit controversial in Korea. Both JYP and SM had company stages in addition to group stages. Some ppl were upset that the biggest entertainment companies were using their power and influence to get more screentime. Also, that a broadcast channel was essentially advertising company names. It is a bit strange if you think a bout it. Like you'd never see a colab stage between Lady Gaga and Taylor Swift, with a big sign over their heads saying, brought to you by Columbia Records.
