yes, jimin used to be chubbier in the face. He actually, after this time period,started a very bad eating habit and used to go ten days without eating meals and just had a horrible time with food and most likely an eating disorder (people will be defensive and say its not, but the way he starves himself and WHY he does it, does lead to him most likely having one, especially because it's common with dancers who do contemporary. He's a perfectionist and perfectionists are very common to have anorexia...). He said he wanted to be good looking like the other boys and also, he's known for his abs, so he wanted to stay fit for the fans. Hence why his face is a little skinnier now (also cause naturally baby fat goes away over time but he naturally just has a baby face). So around after this, he lost a LOT of weight in a bad and unhealthy way. He even said he'd pass out at times and Jin would worry about him not eating. Thankfully he is (assumed to be) better, but honestly, it's not like we'll ever really know if he is or really stopped, because things like that do come back. But the boys are there for him and care for him. Here's to hoping he's healthier <3

Also, Suga may be a forward guy, but he has never been one to like being in control. Ever. He doesn't like taking the lead at all. He'd rather someone else take the lead and he follows. He's not a leader type person and has always be more of a backseat driver. That's why him and Namjoon always got along since day once, cause Yoongi is very quiet and laidback and Namjoon is very in control and great at talking. Also, when they're saying things that seem like they aren't close, it's cause obviously there are six other guys, so some are closer than others. V and Suga used to not be that close cause their personalities are just very different and J-Hope and RM weren't very close (idk why, the boys just said they used to be awkward?). You'll see those pairs grow a very adorable friendship in season 2. They were all very close here, but just some members weren't as cozy as others, i.e affectionate and deep conversations. Jungkook and Taehyung were besties since day one, Jimin and Taehyung consider themselves soulmates and Jimin always comforted tae when he cries and stuff, J-Hope and Suga bonded since the day they met, Suga and RM were the first in the group so they had months together alone, Jin and Suga were roommates, Namjoon said he basically protects and raises Taehyung and they used to be roommates, etc. Friend to them, also just means someone their exact age. So the translation just doesn't work. Since RM and JHope are both from 1994, they're 'friends'. Same with V and Jimin, both from 95.

BTS are all close. The thing with the word "friend" is in Korean culture, if you're friends it means you're the same age. Korean culture is very strict with respect and honorifics is a big part of their culture. That's where the hyung (older brother Jin, Suga etc) and dongsaeng (younger brother aka Jungkook) comes in. For example, Jungkook and Suga are still close, but there's still a very strong sense of respect and authority in their relationship because of the age difference and honorifics. Now if you're "friends" aka the same age, honorifics don't come into play. You're the same age so you're on the same level. The hierarchy doesn't exist. That's why RM and J Hope (both born in 94) call each other by their names with no honorifics. It's the same with V and Jimin (both born in 95). Jimin is older but V doesn't call Jimin hyung because they're the same age. It's also why V and Jimin are two of the closest in BTS. Without the honorifics and hierarchy, they were able to bond more because they didn't have to worry about respecting their elders because with them there is no elder. In Korea, they're the same age.

I hope you do end up reacting to the Bon Voyage episodes. At least the 2nd or 3rd one, those are the best. Will there be more BV reactions?

By "friend" in Korea they mean someone of the same age, it is not meant literally!
