(Harley's POV)

I tossed a grenade up in the air and knocked it over to the last group of men that killed Ivy's plants and I felt nice and energized. I felt like I could take on what's left of the world right now! A little while after, I said fuck it and asked Ivy for her plan. During the time we spent trying to find a ride back to Metropolis, and the Hall of Justice. Ivy was telling me how we use Wonder Woman's emotional state to our advantage. I just got her off the part of killing her and the little boy. 

Harley-I know you have a soft spot for kids.

Ivy-Good ones. Not spoiled and rotten brats.

Harley-He's just scared, sweet little bunny.

Ivy-You call hyenas babies... Just stick to the plan. We get the kid and Wonder Woman would do anything we ask... We will take a boat. It's slower, but we can avoid detection on the bitch's air space.

Harley-I wouldn't worry about that. Waller still has me on her payroll... Just without the paying part. Get a helicopter with a radio and I can get us in without being shot down.

Ivy-In that case, the police have helicopters on standby. We just need to grab one.

Harley-Woooaaahhh! Girls trip! Oh, you are going to 'love' this little guy! 

((Y/N)'s POV)

(Y/N)-A-Ahhhhhh.

Wonder Woman gave me a spoonful of mac and cheese with bacon bits while I was in her lap. I still don't know why I was so scared, but she would never help me find out why. She would only say I was just nervous in front of a superhero and it was normal.

Diana-Come on, let's get another bite ready for that tummy. Say 'ahhh' for me again. ~

I did what she wanted and even if the food was yummy I still felt a little bad. After I was done eating, we went back to my exercises to trust her. At first, I thought this was going to be falling back on her, but instead, it was cuddling, kissing my cheeks, picking something to watch with her, letting her clean me, and now... she was tossing me in the air a little. She even started to fly around while holding me to show that she was not going to drop me and...

Diana-I just want you to see how easy you are for me to hold and make me happy. ~

She gave me more kisses and I did not want to look at her. I just felt so embarrassed being held like this. When we got to her room after slowly flying, she flew around in circles at the same speed... It was very relaxing.

Diana-Awwwww. I see someone is getting sleepy... Well, get comfy because I want you to get used to sleeping like this sometimes. ~

She went by a desk and grabbed a remote to go to a music channel or something to turn on some slow music. My eyes felt heavy and she pushed my head down onto her chest to bury me into her.

(Y/N)-Yawn muffled.

Diana-Giggles. ~

(Diana's POV)

He closed his eyes and I gave him head and back scratches to help him go to sleep. Even when I heard his snoring, I still hovered in circles around my room. After an hour of complete peace, I decided to tuck him into my bed and put on a show for me to enjoy while holding him. That was until the silent alarm went off on the (Y/N) that the doorbell was being rang.

Diana's mind-We have a doorbell?

I left him alone to go check who it was outside by flying out from the top of the building and to the front door. After seeing the heavy military presence still, I already knew who it was and rolled my eyes.

Diana-I grow tired of telling you that the Hall of Justice will not be a place for your soldiers to be residents.

Waller-My men are stuck here to help rebuild this city and I am the only one left that manages and takes care of more than half of the world now.

Diana-I help capture criminals and bring them to justice, but I do not directly answer to you. You and your men need to leave.

Waller-... You're hiding something, are you?

I know she would suspect something by now, but I also know she is not a completely loose-lipped person. She is telling me that she knows of some kind of power move or mind game. She knows that she and her army can't take me on in an honest fight. There is no way the Bat Family will give her anything and even with all her new power in government she will have nothing on me... Whatever she is playing, I can't give her anything.

Diana-There is nothing new I am hiding.

Waller-Then prove it. You have your magic lasso.

Diana-I have nothing to prove to you, nor do I care. In case you haven't noticed, I am not the one hiring supervillains to do my dirty work... Speaking of which. Why are they still here?

Waller-That is to help with damage control.

Diana-Stragglers with no technology left?

Waller-I need all the help I can get.

Diana-Well, you can count on me for patrols, but you will not be occupying this building.

Waller-I will. Like it or not, all of you here will answer to me.

She sounded like a tyrant and there was no point in talking anymore. I flew back up to the top of the building to get back inside.

(No POV)

In the brief moment, Diana opened the door, she failed to notice a spider-like drone crawl inside. It secretly followed her back to her room and meanwhile, Waller watched the live video when she got into a van. After only minutes of watching she saw Wonder Woman go into her room, so she used the front to get into the vents by unscrewing them. When she peeked on them through the vents...

Waller-A child?... All of this for a child she took off the street?!

(Waller's POV)

I had no idea she took a child in and there is no way that he was hers. She got really cuddly with him while he was sleeping. I tried to find him on record, but her damn body was getting in the way of the scan.

Waller-Keep eyes on the kid for the scan. When you find out who he is, find his parents or a foster home for him to stay in. I don't have time for her to play Mommy. 

Soldier-Ma'am, with all due respect. This is Wonder Woman.

Waller-Your point?

Soldier-It's not like she is going to listen without good reason to her. She won't even let us in and now we are demanding she give up a child she took in.

Waller-Find the parents or something. Get a foster home if you have to.

I left the van and looked back at the building to think about the kid that this bitch was taking care of when she has no business to do it. I am going to get her to fall in line and let us in by removing the child from the equation. I decided to enjoy lunch and relieve some of this stress, but it doesn't help when all we have is this military-bagged food that tastes like shit. It got worse when someone came up to me.

Soldier-Madam, we have someone requesting permission to land.

Waller-We have others for that. What do I look like? You're fucking mom?

Soldier-She does not have permission to land, but she said you 2 are friends in the workplace.

Waller-What?... Transfer the call to me.

He gave the order over the radio and soon my phone started ringing, so I answered it.

Waller-This is-.

Harley-Hiiiii Waller! ~

Waller-Sigh.

Harley-It's the craziest thing! Wonder Woman took me back to Arkham by mistake. These guys don't know I still work for you and wanted me to turn back!

I held the bridge of my nose and remembered I told my team to fuck off and find other things to do that don't bother me. At least the others do a good job doing that much.

Waller-Wouldn't that have been a real 'shame'?

Harley-I know! So do you wanna do a girl a favor and let her land before she runs out of fuel?

Waller-Just land where I can't see you.

Harley-Thank yoooouuu! ~... Got time for some girl ta-?

I hung up and gave the clear for her landing.

Waller-How can this day get any worse?

(Harley's POV)

We got the permission we needed to land and the plan was to get into the Hall of Justice again, grab the baby and the device to get the bombs out of my friends's heads, and find a place to lay low. I landed in a good spot to have eyes on the target and still be far away enough to be hidden. Ivy and I got out and when an alien came out, she released some toxins to burn them alive.

Ivy-Don't breathe that in. Come on.

We got a move on from the area and made our way to the Hall of Justice.

Harley-What do you want to do with the boys first when we get the bombs out? Make kabobs?

Ivy-Get the job done today and I will make ones that are not made out of humans.

Harley-None of them can be made out of the boys I like.

Ivy-... Are any of them annoying to me?

Harley-... Maybe Boomerang.

Ivy-Then it is up to him where it goes.

(Ivy's POV)

I followed Harley through the city and smiled at the destroyed city that was put here by destroying thousands of innocent plants. I think I may leave a bit of a mark before we head back to Gotham to see if I can get them to abandon this place. That will be another forest for the world. We got to the building and Harley led me to the back door. Looks like she is having trouble though.

Harley-It never gets easier. Just like with the Bats.

Ivy-What?

Harley-Not working. I should be able to get inside in a few-.

Ivy-Allow me, Sweetheart.

I pulled out some seeds to toss them on the ground to get them into the cracks on the ground and slipped them into the walls to get into the hinges.

Harley-Wait, you're gonna-!

I ripped the door clean off the hinges, but then I heard an alarm go off and bars dropped down.

Ivy-Set off the alarm?

Harley-Yeah. I just grabbed her and formed a pod around before I pulled us into the ground.

((Y/N)'s POV)

It felt so hard to breathe when all of these loud sounds woke me up, but Diana was holding me and turned the sounds off. I didn't pay attention to what she said before she left the room and locked the door. When I could think straight again I started to run to the door, but it would not open. I looked at the panel and tried to unlock the door. After 5 tries, I gave up and went back on the bed to just wait for Diana. Everything was quiet at least, but then I heard rattling coming from somewhere... I flower came out of a vent when it broke the screen off and came in! The first thought was Diana would be mad that something had broken, but it wasn't my fault! There was something about the flower too!... 

(Y/N)'s mind-It's looking at me! 

I ran to the bathroom where it could not see me and closed the door to lock it. After that, I got in the tub to hide and closed my eyes to wish everything would just go away. Soon, I started to hear voices.

???-Looks like she didn't change the lock in here... Aww, where'd he go? muffled

???-In there. Hurry up before Wonder Mama comes back.

One of the voices sounded a little familiar. When I saw the door lock turn when I opened my eyes my heart sank. I saw Harley and... POISON IVY?!?!?!

Harley-Gasp Oh my god, that's so cute! ~

She ran up to me and took me out of the bath to hold me in front of Ivy and my body curled up while I tried not to cry.

Harley-Isn't he just an adorable lil' puddin' pie! Look at him! ~

Ivy-I see him.

Harley-Hold him!

Ivy-Maybe later. We need to leave.

(Diana's POV)

I ran out of patience, but only to the point that I would keep things passive and respectable with these soldiers. I cleared all of them away from the building and destroyed their vehicles without killing any of them. Now, I had the highest-ranking officer 5 stories in the air and by the collar of his shirt.

Diana-I tell you to stay away and you abuse your authority to try and break in? I should haul all of you off to jail.

Soldier-It's Martial Law! What we are doing is perfectly legal!

Diana-I know what Martial Law is and I find the treatment of innocent people to be nothing short of criminals hiding behind the law... Soldiers like you make me sick!

Soldier-We didn't even break that door! Ask that kid of yours if he set off the alarm!

At that moment he realized what he said and looked like he regretted it.

Diana-How do you know about (Y/N)?

Soldier-...

If they know about my baby and they lured me out here...

Diana-(Y/N)!

I flew down and back inside the broken door with him and to my room... He was no longer in there and I dropped the soldier to the floor and fell to my knees... My baby was missing now. At first I thought of all my failures to my friends and having a rope around my neck... Then I thought about (Y/N) and slowly all my thoughts about hurting myself... I wrapped the soldier with my lasso of truth around his neck and heard him gasping for air while I stood up. He tried to shoot me, but I blocked all of his bullets.

Diana-Where is my baby? I know someone has him.

Soldier-Gag I cough don't gasp knoooow.

Diana-Tell me who would. Who do you take orders from directly?

Soldier-... Waaalllleeerrrrr. faint gasping

I watched his body fall to the floor and he still tried to break free. I only walked past him and dragged his body with me without looking at him. I lifted the lockdown and dragged the now-dead commander out front for his men to see when I threw his lifeless body into a destroyed car.

Diana-You all knew about my baby and you decided to take him from me!... I am only going to give you one chance of redemption!... Tell me where Waller is or I will see this as aiding a kidnapper!

There were none who wanted to stand up and do the right thing. I thought about the remaining survivors in this city under these soldier's rule... No. Waller's rule.

Diana-Very well then! If you won't honor the oaths you took to protect your people then you will no longer be serving!... WHERE'S WALLER?!?!?!

I flew up to one of the soldiers and took him far away in great speed before finding holding cells with more soldiers in the area with people inside.

Diana-Growl!

(Timeskip 30 Minutes)

(Waller's POV)

SMASH

I hit this foldable table with a foldable chair when I heard Wonder Woman go from resisting to locking up all the soldiers who refused to follow her orders to find me and return that kid to her! I DIDN'T FUCKING TOUCH HIM!!! I ordered all my men to treat her like another prime target, but when I gave the order over the radio!

Soldier-Ma'am! Citizens are being hostile! Wonder Woman is leading an up-!

The radio went silent. I was on the move and had to find somewhere to hide from her. My next move was to call my best shot at taking her down!

Waller-Task Force-X! Do you copy?!

Deadshot-... Task Force-X, copies.

Waller-I have a new prime target for you! Meet up somewhere and bring down Wonder Woman!

Boomerang-... Ya mind repeating that?

Waller-Get your asses in gear and take care of Wonder Woman! I still have those bombs in your heads!

(King Shark's POV)

I knew who our old targets were and they were gone, but Wonder Woman alone is still a big ask! We don't even know where Harely was, so we were basically down a member until we find her. We were gearing up and getting ready to head out, but then we saw Harley up on the roof when she whistled to us.

Harley-Oh booooyyysss! How would you little change in management?!

She held up something and threw it to me and the end of this machine looked familiar... It couldn't be.

Harley-Helps with a big headache! Keep in touch for a job, yeah?!

She blew us a kiss before she ran off to where we could not see her anymore, but left a device for us. When we looked at each other...

Boomerang-I got dibs on the first go!

(Ivy's POV)

Harley came back and started flying us back to Gotham and I got... I was forced to hold the boy to make Harley happy. I love her like a sister, but she is too much sometimes. All he was doing was whimpering in my arms and softly crying. He didn't seem like a brat, but that could just be the fear talking to make him look innocent.

Harley-Come on, are you going to talk to him? 

Ivy-I don't know how to talk to him when he knows who I am.

Harley-Yeah you do. I saw how you are with kids... Granted how it turned out.

Ivy-Let's just get him back so I can I've him what he needs to avoid that.

I looked back at '(Y/N)' and he was looking up at me in horror while whispering something so softly that I could not hear him, but I think I could make it out as "Please, don't hurt me" or something.

Ivy-Sigh... Do you know who I am? I'm just a plant that hurts bad people that hurt the planet you live on. ~

Harley-She doesn't bite the good boys and girls.

(Y/N)-... B-B-But sh-she m-m-melted people once. whisper

Ivy-Melted?... Chuckles I think you got that confused with some failed experiments. Granted it did wound me so to see innocent life go like that. 

He relaxed a little more when I said that, but I did kill humans before and did melt them by pouring the chemicals they were pouring into oceans, lakes, and rivers onto them. If they didn't want it poured onto them, then they shouldn't have done it to the marine life and water. Leaving that out did make him a little less scared. I told him of my other good deeds like killing people who poisoned the air to make it cleaner or ruining the ground to make more food and pretty plants. I even made flowers come out of my leaves and he looked surprised. He seemed to love the smell too since this flower releases pollen that relaxes you... He got really cuddly now.

Ivy-Awwww... See, I'm not bad. I just protect what I care about... Like that little button-nose or those baby feet. ~

I touched him and with every touch, he looked conflicted on how to feel. One part of him was still scared to death of me, but another part wanted to submit to the pollen and be happy.

Ivy-You are just adorable. Like a timid little animal. ~

He jolted away a little when I petted his head, but he was also blushing. I giggled a little at this. Harley leaned over and gave him a few kisses, but stopped when the helicopter was swerving.

(Y/N)-AAAHHHHHH!!!

Harley-Oh, sorry!

He went from being timid to trying to jump out of my lap, even though there was nowhere to go except for the back of the helicopter. He did end up running back there to cry on the seats while trying to hide from us. I just gave Harley a look and she gave a nervous smile.

Harley-Hehehe... At least there was nothing to crash into over the ocean. 

I got up and went over to (Y/N) and picked him up to sit down with him on my lap. I think when I give him my little serum to keep him from being slowly killed by just being around me, he is going to need some more sedatives just to chill out.

(???'s POV)

I cut into a glass container and carefully reached in to grab a golden statue worth a fortune. Next up was to snag the jewels and jewelry in the other display cases. I should have another 10 minutes before the alarms go off if I am still in here for the motion censors to spot me. I managed to pick this place clean with 2 minutes to spare by the time I made it out. I jumped from rooftop to rooftop until I made it back to my apartment suite with my beautiful prizes. I put them away before I looked in the mirror.

Selina's mind-Too easy. ~

I deserved a nice relaxing bath after another good night. This Bat Family is no Batman when he is off somewhere. If anything it's not as fun.
