The code execution cannot proceed because VCRUNTIME140_1.dll was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.

Might need to install the VC Runtime Package https://www.microsoft.com/en-ca/download/details.aspx?id=48145

Can't launch the steam version. I'm guessing its for the same or similar reasons as the other comments, but steam doesn't make it obvious why it crashes,

the code execution isn't working. I have reinstalled the game and VC yet I still get the cannot proceed because of VCRUNTIME140_1.dll

Even though I support the game here, I play on Steam. I used to have dl issues and whatnot...now everything seems smooth...you just have to wait a while until the updates load over there but it has been way less headaches for me! Looking forward to this patch. Keep up the good work!

I'm getting the VCRUNTIME140_1.dll wasn't found error, tried to reinstall visual c++like other people have and I'm still getting the same error

For those who have issues running the latest version just download https://www.dll-files.com/vcruntime140_1.dll.html and copy the dll-file into your installation folder (next to Radiant.exe). Does work for me. EDIT: this 'fix' does work for Linux and Windows.

for everyone getting the VCRUNTIME140_1.dll error, i think ive found the solution. I am running windows 10 and encountered this error. The fix for me was to directly download the VCRUNTIME140_1.dll file and put the file in the windows system32 folder. soon as i put it there it worked normally for me.

Thanks, works for me now

Works just fine on Linux, using steam's proton. Also .dll needs to be in directory.

Download doesn't work on Windows 10.

game doesn't start for me when i use the early build

SpaceCowboy_Bebop

the Game Discord channel has the solution. Download and install the newest Visual Studio runtime here from Microsoft. This fixed the problem for me. x64 is for 64 bit windows; x86 is for 32 bit windows. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads

How do I initially download the game?

Anonymous

Easiest way is to download it on steam, then use the codes in the "Member benefits" area above to unlock early or testing branches. To put the code in on steam, right click the game in your library, properties, beta tab, enter code there.

Clicking the download button leads to a no longer available file

Anonymous

It is no longer available, it says it was removed, went against terms of service, etc etc.
