I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.
I also really wanted to say thank you to everyone for allowing me to do what I'm doing. I'm really appreciative of all of you and the support you've given me.
I wouldn't have been able to do what I have without your support, and I feel really lucky that you guys believe in my project here on patreon!
So this past week I worked on getting a new spell done, I'm done a lot of planning work on the combat system, and started building some general environmental assets.
I did a lot of work around having Meridiana look at current targets, some of which I might end up undoing down the line, as I've also fleshed out how I think the combat system will go. I want to make sure the spells make the play feel badass.
This week I put together a spell that will lift and then fling objects around you at a target. Feels a bit starwars, but I think it'll be a fun spell.
The throwing stuff around spells are a lot of fun, I think. So while I don't want to focus the game just around them, I do want to make sure they're included.
I also started working on environmental assets and props. While my game world doesn't have a super realistic look, nor does it look too cartoony. I tried to hit something in the middle with the characters, and so I'll need it for the props as well.
I don't want to focus too much on props, as they aren't too exciting, so I figure one or two a week depending on complexity.
This week was a barrel
