I worked on a few things this week.

First based on some feedback I took some time to add back in a sort of casual/god mode.  its available in the options menu, and it will make all the enemies non aggressive.

UNLESS you attack them, then they will attack you back.  It can be toggled on and off at any time, and be aware that the enemies might have some strange behaviours when it is on. (Technically, all it does is blind and deafen them, so they respond poorly to some stimulus when its active).

While I was making this adjustment, I noticed that some of the control layout pages were a little out of date, so I went ahead and updated those a bit.  I don't expect I'll have to change them too much more!

The last thing I wanted to show off is a test I did above.  I've been slowly making adjustments so that some spells will replace your aimed and/or melee attacks.

Above is a test of this. (Unfinished test)  Summoning the storm temporarily replaces the pistol with bolts of lightning that strike down.  I imagine the completed storm would take a few moments to manifest, and you'd either get a limited amount of time, or a limited amount of strikes before it disappeared.

I'd like the magic to end up a mix of spells that are one off use, and spells that act as a temporary weapon.   Some of these will end up replacing existing spells.

I don't want to focus too much on this, so I'll try to add these abilities slowly.

Thanks so much for your support, and stay safe, everyone!

Lightning Strike Test

Testing a spell that allows Meridiana to create strikes of lightning. I really wanted the spell to effect the atmosphere, so this is kinda a test of doing that. It really depends on what atmosphere system I'm using for how the end effect will look. I'd love everything to be a bit more smooth. I also need to think of what animations I'd like for summoning first the storm, and then the individual Lightning strikes https://www.patreon.com/Mithos56 (NSFW)

Yes. I think that about spells you should think about and implement this idea into the game, I think you will be able to do it. Good luck!
