I've got the new charm system completely implemented at this point, and it only needs some tweaks.

The new system involves Meridiana prepping enemies to be charmed by giving off pheromones that make enemies more malleable.    Once the enemy passes through this cloud of happy, they can be confronted and charmed when they would normally attack on site.

How does she release these pheromones?  Well, she needs to do a bit more then think happy thoughts!

As I've mentioned before, enemies that are charmed can now be given directions such as wait and follow, and in the future, I hope to add a few more commands.   

This will making charming enemies a little more interesting, as now you've got to create and get them into your happy cloud first.   In the future, I can see stuff like throwable love potions or darts that have the same effect, giving the player multiple ways to charm enemies.   

I also could see some situations where wind can help or hinder your abilities to manuever enemies into the right areas, and this idea is very interesting to me.

So everything is basically in place, I spent some time testing it and its not difficult to use.  I do want to update the tutorial level tooltips, and then release a test to get some feedback from you guys as well.   

I'll include those new dirty animations in the test somewhere as well, even though they won't quite be in context.
