May 3rd Weekly Update (Patreon)

I had a busy week, and worked on a few different things.

Starting off, if you've seen some animations of the new male character, you've seen that his pose seems to be seated.  I do have very specific animations planned for him and they require him to be sitting.   Unfortunately, all the chairs I have in Unreal that look the part interfere with the animation a lot. 

So I had to take a little time and make my own chair. 

Its not anything particularly exciting, but it will interfere with the planned animations a lot less.  Also, like all my props, its destructible!

Also related to props, now that I can freeze enemies, I felt like I also needed a way to burn things and create heat.  So I added that effect as well.  Wooden props can be set on fire, and fires will propagate out heat.  Some of that heat will just be warmth, but get to close and characters might be set on fire after a moment or two.  Also if you throw a flaming object at an enemy, it will set them on fire as well.  (Unfortunately, this will also set Meridiana on fire in the process!)  

One place I'm a little stuck at the moment is how to destroy objects that are on fire.  My reference for this is Zelda: BOTW, and surprisingly, when objects burn completely in that game, they just disappear in a puff of smoke.  
I'm not sure if I want to go the same route, or do something slightly more appropriate?  Maybe leave a pile of ash?
As for monsters killed by fire, currently they just slump over as any other death, I don't know if I want to replace their textures with something more burnt.

Lastly, I'm looking for help naming a character, I'm asking for suggestions in this thread, and there is going to be a special thank you to the person who comes up with the chosen name!
