This week I put a lot of time ( a lot) into trying to build out modular parts to build this fishing village area.  The good news is that a lot of what I did will certainly be reusable for other villages with wooden structures.
The bad news is that this is something I'm inexperienced at, and its taken me a lot of time to build out what is essentially walls.

I still need roofs, interiors and finishing touches.

I wanted to make something that allows me to have a little variety in the houses set up, and to that end I mad a few different window types, doorway, etc.  I have a last few parts I want to make ( Like a double door for a saloon or public building) but I'm happy-ish with the results.

Most of the work comes from dealing with little special cases for how the roof attaches to the walls, and I may have overdone it in places where a seems might not have been noticed.

Its been a lot of work, and will probably be even more as I look at the rest of the parts, plus variations on color and paint.  If I even go that far.

I didn't want to spend my entire week on this however, so I took a little time off to finally bring in that first animation with the Minotaur and the Village girl I did a while ago.   I had some difficulties with scaling joints causing some problems.  I made a separate post about that earlier this week, but I need to keep that patron only due to some content.

My goal is to finish the exterior stuff of these houses, and start placing them around and build out the town.  As I go I can then take a little more time here and there to build out the interiors and props that might go along with them.

Also want to get back into doing some fun stuff like more spells and animations.

Well, I want to say, in the whole, despite the fact that you are not experienced in construction matters, however, you have done large-scale work. It turned out pretty well. Keep it up!

With this kind of strong straight huge planks clean as a house floor you can strongly imagine what kind of tree you find in this region
