I worked on a few things this week, most of them small quality of life things.
The big thing I tried to tackle was making the small puzzle in the dungeon easier to understand. People seem to have been confused by it.
As opposed to reworking the puzzle, I first want to see if giving players some build up will help them understand it better.
Now, when you enter the area, there are a few easier puzzles that are similar in nature you must overcome to get through. I hope by ramping things up like this, it will make it more obvious what the solution is to the more difficult puzzle that already exists.
If that doesn't work, I will likely change that puzzle to reveal a treasure as opposed to opening the door out of the area.
There are a few other adjustments that I made to some other difficulty stuff, but its nothing significant at the moment.
I'm still working out the final area of the level. The difficulty is trying to build/find the proper assets for the area. Once I have those, that should fall into place rather quickly.
