This week I finished up a few things with the Bird Goblin dude, just updated some stuff with his rig, and gave him an attack.

Besides doing that I spent most of the week rewiring the attack stuff, and moving a few spells over to attack abilities.  

People had asked to have a few hotkeys, so they can quickly use the most common attacks and abilities more quickly.

How I'm going to do things is treat those more common abilities almost like items, and make them equipible, similar to a Zelda game.  

I was able to build the logic for switching between said abilities, and moved the more prominent attack abilities over from the spell menu.  As the video shows, I've also made some to some of the attacks, and I've got a few surprises I can't wait to show you guys! 


I don't want to say more at this time, but I think there will be some neat stuff soon enough!

New Combat Short Clip

I did some updates to how the combat works, and made a couple spells into abilities that are a little easier and quicker to use. ( Similar to using items in a Zelda game). This is just a quick example of two abilities. If you hit the button for the bomb ability, it is throw a set distance in front of you, where as if you hold the button, you are able to aim where it hits. The fire sword has a four hit combo if you tap the button, but holding it will do the fire breathing effect instead.
