Art Collector rewards: Sketchbook and finished artwork link!

Comic Collector rewards: Comic Archive

Everybody else should have yours already! LMK if you're missing something as always.

So how's it goin, Xero?

All things said, off to a good start this year. Many outstanding commissions are done, most are well underway, and almost all of them have gotten at least some kind of update this month (minus one or two big ones that will be getting some love very shortly.) I'm currently open for more & still honoring Patron discounts, so if you're wanting something tailored to your tastes don't be shy! I'd like to keep ahead on bills so I don't get swamped again.

My next comic project is underway, currently in the design phase. Very soon I will have the character designs ironed out, and will flesh out the environment and some key moments in thumbnail form before hashing out the 8 page layout. Once that's in place, production will begin. As of right now I would still like to release it in March, but that may be ambitious given my commission workload. I'm aiming to be able to downscale commissions by the end of this year to focus more on comics and original artworks, but that's up to fine folks like you continuing to support me! Thanks as always.

This week I'll be polishing off the last XBV piece, sending more updates to commissioners who are waiting, and hopefully ideating some more on the comic if time permits. I'm juggling a lot of tasks, and giving myself grace for not keeping every little thing in the air is tough but I'm doing my best. As the month goes on, I'll be sending out completed commissions and ramping up to begin full production on the comic.

If all goes to plan, the rewards file for February will be stuffed to the brim with completed commission work, a hearty sketchbook as always, and as an additional treat, my study materials. This month I'm signing up for New Masters Academy as an ongoing reinvestment in my skills, and I plan to document and share that adventure with you. My art education has been slapdash and mostly self-directed - the school I graduated from did more for me on the design end of things than drawing, and even then unfortunately over-emphasized theory to the detriment of practical skill. Given that, I think my abilities have grown wonderfully! But I feel the need to really step up and master my craft.

Thank you as always for your kind support and continued involvement in making my dreams come true & spreading more artistic pleasure to the world. You are all so incredible and I couldn't ask for a better batch of perverts to have my back!

Till next time~

XOXO,

 Xero
