Hey lovelies. January is nearly done! Top of the year I set some new goals, and I'd like to take a little time every month to look back and see how I'm doing toward that.

First things first though, I want to say thank the patrons for all your support so far. Many of you have been here since I first started. I've come a hella long way, and I think this last month represents some of my better work. It's thanks in part to you that such work is possible, so  thank you dearly.

Alright, so let's look at my 2021 goals and how they're going.

Goal #1: Consistency via Weekly Updates.

I got 4 out of 5 on that - I missed one week due to life circumstances, but I also made up for it by updating the sketchbook thread the following Monday. So far so good! I'm also pleased with how filled-out the January sketchbook is - tons of pages! Yeah boiiiii.

Goal #2: Lots More Merch & Goodies

Boobs mousepads are underway! Lunar New Year in China means the final production line won't be shipped to me till March, but the sample is on its way. I'm starting to thinking about other merch I can put together depending on interest.

Goal #3: Outreach

Still figuring out exactly what I want to do. I've thought about doing a podcast again, but I'm wary of taking on any new time-consuming projects haha. And like before, I worry that I'll run into the problem of people not willing to go on voice. But I'm still brianstorming, so this will be addressed at some point this year.

Goal #4: Constant Improvement

Now this is where I'm really starting to feel some momentum. Last week, I wrote up a loose schedule of what elements of artistic skill I wanted to focus on each day. I've set the bar pretty low - as long as I put in a little time on that day's theme, I can call it a win. So far I've seen pretty dramatic improvements in my body construction, and I've started to push myself on environments and perspective. This daily practice, plus daily self-indulgent doodling before and/or after my work day, has already helped me tons, and I think y'all are going to start really seeing the fruits of that next month.
