Easy, Subcon is not only just the land of dreams, but the kingdom is specifically possible for making dreams come true. I remember reading a Nintendo sponsored CYOA book where the group's reward for beating Wart was a wish. Sooooo one can assume it's possible. (I am reading waaaaaaaay into this.)
