This had me stumped for a long time. Before it was easier when I used Patreon as a tip-jar with next to no goals and exclusive content.

For months I would recognize accounts that would look at the content and unpledge prior to the charge date.

I don't plan on erecting walls around this page, I will still proceed making content that will eventually become public. I wish the exclusivity to be tied more so with how my supporters can interact with me, in ways that are not applicable elsewhere, such as my polls. Before people who pledge but haven't been charged yet could vote. That's unfair to the rest of my patrons.

TO ALL OF MY CURRENT SUPPORTERS: you won't get double-charged! Nothing has changed for you. You can look up the Help pages (I provided a link below) on Patreon for the details, but again, you won't be charged additionally.

TO ALL NEWCOMERS INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING ME: You've most certainly come from my other accounts @alienbuns/theboris on twitter/FA, or maybe somewhere else entirely. At any rate, you can see the content I post there in general, including all of my Patreon-related pieces (which is its own folder on FA). So yes, if you wish to view the exclusive content, voting on polls, participate in the suggestion threads and more, you have to be charged upon pledging.
