Hey there, everyone!

I'm sorry for the delay. I ended up taking about twelve or so hours longer than I initially intended to release this demo. My college professors dumped a lot of new work on top of us the past week because we're over two months late on our classes due to the pandemic and the semester is supposed to end next month @.@

Hopefully, the content in this update should still be good regardless! I hope you all stay safe and are doing alright!

  • Days 27 and 28 added for Keisuke
  • New CG art added
  • New outfit and facial expressions added for Misaki (MC's mother)

Take your time and don't worry about it, we understand! I was curious though, when will the new UI be implemented? Next month? or will it take longer do you think?

Hello! I just downloaded the new update and got to playing. I don't know if I am the only one with this issue but the game seems to be unable to load some Keisuke's sprites and sometimes even crashes the game. I did some test by playing the game at different points in the story, but the problem persisted. The common points of this problem I found is it happens every time the game try to load Keisuke's sprites from images/sprites/keisuke/pose1/casual side/ folder. What should I do? One of the error log: I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred. While loading <'Image' u'images/sprites/keisuke/pose1/casual side/neutral.png'>: IOError: Couldn't find file 'images/sprites/keisuke/pose1/casual side/neutral.png'.

I'm not too sure how to handle this, because that folder of isn't even programmed into the game anymore. There is no mention to those in the game's code, so I don't know how you're getting that error o.o

For me in the last scene the Keisuke's sprite is flying. Otherwise, the update is great! P.S. Why the new CG for day 10? Just curious.

I figured out the issue. I have a habit of not deleting the old game folder and just copy and paste new update onto it. This seems to be the issue because when I just unpack the update by itself and play the game, the issue no longer presents itself. I am sorry for the confusion. >.<

That was a fun update, good to see Keisuke having his celebration. Is it just me or did Shoichi get all the best lines? :) I feel for him and Saya during the movie, different genre but I've been in that situation. I gave up paying attention to the movie and started writing a story in my head to pass the time xD

Hrm. That error should not be occurring. I checked the code and the variable is properly defined in there. If you ask him "Since when have you liked me?" it sets the variable to True. If you ask "Why did you start having feelings for me?" the variable is set to False. It should be working no matter what o.o

It could be because that is right where I restored from an older save. :) I was able to "ignore" and continue on. :) Oh, I love this update! I like how MC is getting antsy, yet still reserved and still coming to terms and Kei saying I was watching you, watching me, watching you... :> And Jun giving Kei advice on composing a song! Life comes first! I, for one, am just happy that you are able to provide us with advanced warning! <3 Love you, Nyaruh and the wonderful work you do! Looking forward to the next update, as always!

This was a really nice update, I must say! Nothing huge or dramatic or anything like that; just a nice, quiet, fluffy experience. It's a really nice pallet cleanser after how... emotionally charged the last couple updates have been. Can't say I have any real complaints for this update, but I did encounter a few bugs with the sprites in day 28; in the movie theater, Shoichi's sprite switches to his school uniform for a few lines before they go to take their seats, and at the end of the day, Kei's sprite is raised up and to the left side of the screen. Other than those, there weren't any noteworthy issues in the writing or visuals! But the real topic of discussion should the July update for Jun's route! This update was good to ease us out of the super heavy moods of the last couple updates, at least for a little bit. But now that Keisuke has had his update, it means that next month will give us some proper resolution to "the worst April Fools prank ever," as I've taken to calling the April 2020 update. Words cannot properly express just how much I've been anticipating the July update, and now that it's around the corner, I'm getting even more antsy and nervous about it! I'm not sure what's making me more anxious; not knowing what's going to happen or knowing that we'll be finding out in the next update... At least this month's update was a nice and wholesome distraction from the looming dread. Keep up the good work!

awesome update! one thing I did notice though, is that on day 28, Shoichi's sprite randomly changed from his casual attire to his school uniform right before they all went into the theater. when they're ribbing Kei about his movie choice
