So, guys, I've been trying to decide for a while whether I should get new facial expressions for the characters that currently already have sprites (Shoichi, Jun and Keisuke) or get sprites for other secondary characters (these secondary characters would be the ones that are set to appear more frequently, like Saya, the MC's brother (Akiyoshi) and 5 classmates of the MC who'll be introduced in the new update (and who'll be seen a lot during school segments and the likes).
Whilst I was talking about it with my artist, she suggested I set-up a poll to let you guys decide. You are, after all, my dear patrons x3
So that's pretty much it. I think I'm gonna leave this poll open until the 20th (I feel like that should be enough time. There aren't that many of you guys anyway haha). Thanks a bunch :3

See ya~

I'd like to put faces to the other characters, seems more important to me than expressions at the moment. On a side note, is it ever said what species MC is? In my head he's just been a generic canine lol.

The MC is a Shiba Inu. At first, I had thought of making him a generic humie who was adopted by a family of Shiba, but I decided to just make him a furry already. Seeing furries and humans living is the same world is a little bit weird for me ^^'

Ahh! Shiba's are one of my favorites c: I like seeing humans mixed with furries, but it's always weird to me when the MC is the only one lol.

That's a tough one. On the one hand having more expressions for the characters helps with adding depth to scenes where that character is angry, upset, excited, etc. but on the other when there are only sprites for three of the characters it makes the world feel a bit empty. Since I'd wager your long term goal is to eventually have both more expressions and more characters added, then I'll say sprites for the secondary characters is probably the better choice right now.

Yeah. My overall objective is to get this as close in quality to a professional japanese VN as I possibly can. This means that if I had a giant budget, I'd get stuff such as backgrounds, sprites, CGs and everything else done.

Richard

Cool, You'll probably get there sooner then you think, VN's on this site have a way of suddenly exploding with support once they get noticed, I'm sure this one will be no exception.

Well, I've already have five or so CGs in mind. Only need the means to get them made, but sprites and expressions take precedence for now :p
