Watching Masters of the Universe: Revelation got me in the mood for drawing more MOTU themed stuff. The Barbaria connection came when I drew the TF doodle and thought she'd be a perfect fit for that world as she's kind of inspired by He-Man figures anyway. But unlike the Filmation series, Barbaria takes no prisoners-- she's a 'slay first, ask questions later' kind of gal.

Some notes: I always thought it was kind of odd that Hordak's base of  the Fright Zone was a fearsome and sprawlingly technological citidel in the cartoon, but the toy was...um, a bit of crumbling wall with a dead tree on top. I mean both of them look pretty metal in their own respective ways, but the former looked more like a suitable base of operations for an evil space emperor than the bit of wall. Still, I do love the Fright Zone playset, so I made it here to look like a small subsection of the Fright Zone citadel, like it's the prison section or something.

It works! It's funny that She-Ra was basically a show about FMG, but they couldn't go there.

Amazing work.Love the idea of Barbaria in this kind of world.Barbaria using He-Man's catchphrase is amazing as well.I doubt that She-Ra will approve of Barbaria's harsh methods however...

Agent Zero

Now I want a Barbaria action figure

If someone animated a She-Ra transformation sequence that was similar to the He Man transformation in the first episode of Revelation, we'd all be very happy 😉

Barbaria has come to Etheria to chew gum and stab mutants. And gum doesn't exist on Etheria, so...

Great to see Barbaria back. Hope we see more of her soon.

Marston

An action figure ? Great idea !!!! :) You offer us another great sequence, full of humor (special mention to the recruitment poster for evil guys !). I am almost disappointed that this mutant got slashed by Barbaria... Now, the question is : when will Barbaria meet She-Ra ?!? ;)

AC Marvel

Color it please

I love this so much! Barbaria rocks! (On a sidenote, please let us know when you're able to check out the first episode of Marvel's new cartoon "What If...?" Man, I would pay your Disney subscription fees or whatever it takes to hear your reaction!)

Oh, I've seen it. Unsurprisingly I loved it! It's got all my favourite tropes in one package (superheroes vs nazis, Robots, Lovecraft, WW2 action movies and you-know-what-else😉). It's like Disney made a cartoon that was genetically modified to please me! My only complaint is that I want a whole movie... Nay, a whole series of Captain Carter rather than one half hour!
