I've mentioned it here and there, but I've gotten some questions from those of you are just here for Bioshifter or dropped out of the old Vigor Mortis tier once that story completed, and I'm here to set the record straight: yes, I have a new book. You can read it from any tier that previously had access to Vigor Mortis, and it also now has its own standalone tier called Shapeshifter if that's more your speed. At the time of posting, AYEH has nine chapters available on Patreon, with a new one coming out every week. (That's just over 60,000 words; for reference, the NaNoWriMo goal is 50,000.)

Are You Even Human follows the story of Julietta, a girl in a world of superpowers and constant war against alien forces. When the city she lives in is taken by invaders, she gains the ability to shapeshift into nearly anything... except her own, original body. Forced to pretend to be someone she's not in order to protect herself and those she cares about, Julietta has to make constant sacrifices in order to manage the many messes around her in a world teetering on the brink of apocalypse.

Featuring a competent protagonist with significantly more emotional intelligence than the average Thundamoo character, Are You Even Human features a heavier emphasis on psychological and conversational maneuvering than most of my work, supplementing the usual exciting superpower grab-bag universe with a more down-to-earth military focus on the application of superpowers. I hope you'll give it a read, even if the superhero genre isn't normally your thing!

Also, as you can see from the cover art, I have fucked up the moon. Everyone knows good settings always fuck up the moon.

I got excited and thought I had a new chapter to read. So now I'm sad, but damn is that a nice cover art! I like the scales.

I love your characters! Especially 'Lia' from this new one. You have a gift for writing these half-normal half-monster characters

I'm sad I don't can afford both series currently, but when the situation will be more favorable I will get on board!
