Back From My Con Travels, Pausing Streams, Catching Up On Owed Work [UPDATE] (Patreon)

Hey everyone,

I'm back from my back to back convention adventures! I really appreciate everyone's patience with me as I was busy prepping for these two conventions. We did EXTREMELY well at both Anthro Con and Fur-Eh! Huge thanks to everyone that visited the tables (met a few current and new patrons, which was awesome! Thanks for stopping by, guys!) However they have left me extremely drained and tired (I accidentally lied down after Foxjump's doc. appointment we had in the AM yesterday...after getting home very late from Edmonton due to multiple delays, and immediately napped the whole afternoon away x_x). I don't generally LIKE setting myself up for back to back conventions but because the one after AC was Fur-Eh, I couldn't pass it up. Fur-Eh is my absolute favourite Canadian convention; always a blast to attend (: Thankfully next year, their date has moved so at least for 2024 it won't be back to back with AC if I end up vending at both again! Phew!

The convention touring isn't complete YET, however. I still have CanFURence I'll be vending at in 3 weeks in Ottawa (driving con, yay!), but I won't be jumping back into con prep for that one right away. My focus is current owed work!

Saying that, this backlog has been taking its toll on me. Hasn't been growing, thankfully, but it's been remaining pretty steady...which isn't exactly what I want either. I would love to get myself back to a 6-8 project queue, with turnarounds being a month or less again. 

So, to help get through this queue faster, I'm putting streams on a hold until I can get back to a comfortable work pace again. I hate taking stuff away, especially when I just introduced it, but I find the streams have been taking up valuable time I could be dedicating to my queue. 

I also REALLY want to take some personal time this month to take part in Art Fight before it ends. So having some down time after working on comms all day to dedicate to doing a few of those would be great for my mental health!

I know I have some emails to catch up on so I'm going to get to those right away, followed by the poll for this months pinup. I know I'm behind on rewards too, so I'm going to pump those out in good time this week. Thanks again everyone for the continued patience. Summer months are always insane for me, convention wise, but we've been picking up on a lot of outside the fandom stuff too which has been keeping us busy. You're all rockstars for continuing to want to support me through patron. It's been a huge help having this to rely on for rent and other necessities!
