New Patrons Ask GN! This one has some really fun questions. I liked answering the one at 05:56 ("toughest job in the DIY PC industry?") a lot. That's something we think about a lot and it's a fun industry topic. Keep the great questions coming. Saw some new ones in Discord very recently and will be working on answering those this week.

I'm curious: For the second question about the "new 4690K vs. 4790K" debate, do you think that'll be the R5 vs. R7 in a few years? Or R3 vs. R5? Something else entirely?

Hi Steve, Id like to see some more partner card reviews. I have recently bought Gigabyte 3080 Aorus Master for a ridiculous price (I know.. but I was desperate) and they didn't even bothered to put thermal pads on back of the memory and those on front seems to be 0,5 mm slimmer than should be. Memory temps were 100+C when gaming/benchmarking. Id love to see this called out, because it is not in any way cheap or low end card. Well, at least they put a display there with juvenile dragon doing stuff.. PS: memory junction temps went down 30C after applying 2 and 3mm pads on front and back of mem modules.

Keep doing the reviews. Eventually supply will stabilize and having those reviews will be important.

I am one of the lucky ones who actually have a current gen GPU, and I am not in the market for one either, that said I would still really like to see more board partner reviews. I enjoy watching the reviews regardless of the availability or my desire to purchase one. Patiently awaiting the return of the review :)

There's huge differences between the wrist heart rate sensors, many of them are not even remotely accurate, but some are better - like apparently the ones in the Garmin Fenix -line should be pretty ok. Plenty of reviews of their accuracy on the sports watch youtube -community 🙂

I say R3 vs R5, in a few years. As AMD's IPC continues to improve overall. Tell Patrick S, I said sorry.
