Hi Team

Re my JLP investment as a liquidity provider, the status 2 mths later is as follows:

Initial Situation:

  • 100 SOL swapped for 4540 JLP
  • SOL price at the time: $73.63
  • JLP price at the time: $1.60

Current Situation:

  • SOL price now: $112
  • JLP price now: $2.157

Calculation:

Value of holding SOL:

  • Value of 100 SOL now = 100 * $112 = $11,200

Value of holding JLP:

  • Value of 4540 JLP now = 4540 * $2.157 = $9,793.38

Conclusion:

Holding SOL would have been the better option, as it would result in a higher value of $11,200 compared to the value of holding JLP, which would be $9,793.38.  I left $1400 on the table buy experimenting.  I experiment so you don't have to.

Oh, and by the way, when I first did this, my APR was only 104. Due to increased PERP activity on JUP the APY is a lot higher - now 143.66.  I still hold the JLP.

This was the post 2 mths ago.

Didn't you increase your JLP number over time given the ~140% APY?
