Tesla's Full Self-Driving (FSD) Beta version 12.1.2 is now rolling out to customers.

Omar's test drive is remarkable on some of the most complex roads on Earth - SF!

This is a breakthru moment that still nobody understand.  PS I will be buying more TSLA and CLSK today.... stay tuned for that.

WHY 12 IS SPECIAL

  1. Expansion of FSD Beta Program: Tesla has released version 12.1.2 to a select group of non-employee Tesla owners, expanding the beta testing beyond just employees and quality assurance teams.
  2. Use of End-to-End Neural Networks: This version marks a significant technological leap as it utilizes an end-to-end neural network for autonomous driving, enhancing object detection and vehicle control.
  3. Improved Driving Experience: The update is reported to handle urban driving scenarios more effectively, with smoother transitions, quicker response times, and more accurate object detection, contributing to a safer and more comfortable driving experience.
  4. Reduction of Heuristic Codes: The new version aims to minimize heuristic-based coding (which relies on if-then statements for decision-making) in favor of neural networks that learn and adapt more like human drivers.
  5. Enhanced Safety Features: The ability to autonomously pull over to the side of the road is a notable new feature, enhancing safety and showcased in Omar's driving videos around the San Francisco area.
  6. Positive Initial Feedback: Early feedback from Tesla owners who have received the update is overwhelmingly positive, especially in terms of handling complex urban driving scenarios.
  7. Handling of Complex Road Situations: The system's ability to interpret and react to complex road situations is expected to reduce the likelihood of errors that can occur with hard-coded systems.
  8. Better Integration with Navigation: The integration of navigation with autonomous driving seems to have improved, allowing the vehicle to handle navigation changes and unexpected road conditions more adeptly.
  9. Geographical Overfitting Concerns: There's a mention that the software might currently be overfit to the West Coast, particularly the Bay Area, and may need adjustments for other regions, especially those with different weather conditions like snow.
  10. Future Expectations and Rollout Predictions: There is anticipation of broader rollouts, including to areas with different climatic conditions. The version is still in beta, but there are high hopes for its potential in enabling fully autonomous driving, possibly even for Robo taxi services in the near future.

These points summarize the major advancements and implications of the latest FSD Beta version 12.1.2 as discussed in the article.

NFA.....say someone is a 1.35 owner if BTC, and has enough Tesla shares to to obtain enough BTC to have 2. In the next year, the better investment?
