If the survey were intelligently designed, it would focus on which president is responsible for printing the most money, as an increase in the money supply often leads to a boost in the stock market. Such an analysis would be both intriguing and appropriate.

  • For the Democrat party, the average return is approximately 7.23%.
  • For the Republican party, the average return is approximately 12.43%. ​

Very interesting James, you wonderful person! I do note that the 2007 financial crisis was the most severe worldwide economic crisis since the Great Depression. This accounts for -37% in 2008 (Obama) and may skew the data.
