Wanted to mention Tangem but I accidentally hit "enter" and my incomplete post went somewhere into the ether. Apparently I am being screened by a mod since I'm new? Anyway, the bottom line is, I've heard nothing but good things about Tangem. The app is open source software available on GitHub. The firmware is not open source, but it is also not update-able and has been audited I hit "enter" accidentally and posted this prematurely. Basically I was saying take a look at the Tangem wallet. OpenSource app and the firmware is not open source by Kudelski Security, an independent Swiss firm in business since 1951. They are big and they serve a lot of industries besides crypto, mainly in cybersecurity. https://kudelskisecurity.com/about-us/our-story/ Tangem is cheap. For $56 you get three cards the same size as credit cards as your phyiscal wallet (they throw in 2 spare ones). You tap it to the back of your phone after downloading the app to use the wallet. And they're going to offer a wearable wallet (a ring!) early in 2024. Wow... so convenient. Something you can put on every day, like a watch. Saves the step of having to fish the card wallet out of your pocket when you want to move some crypto. I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger and getting a Tangem. A few weeks ago I ALMOST bought a Ledger and for some reason I procrastinated. I'm glad I did!

Also for what it’s worth ; I have extra ( new in the box ) back ups for every wallet platform I own . If the worst happens I don’t need to wait to replace or be at the mercy of out of stock ect . Additionally- I’ve gone through the process ( on purpose) of restoring back to factory settings just as an exercise. A big Part of being secure is being proficient and practiced ! Stay fit , stay practiced and sleep well !
