I've strategically increased my exposure to Tesla by 3%, executing a balanced options strategy.

I sold Jan 2026 240 Puts

and

acquired Jan 2026 $230 calls

for a net debit of $19. This positions my breakeven point at $249 by January 2026, acknowledging the premium on call options was high.

This adjustment was necessary to rebalance my portfolio, as I hinted yesterday, which had become disproportionately weighted towards Bitcoin/MicroStrategy holdings following their recent rally. At the time of the transaction, Tesla's stock was trading at $235. My investment approach with Tesla remains focused on long-term value - it is a screaming deal and I continue to stack!

I would love to apply some of James strategies and trades but being a non-US resident getting a US option acc ( I have no idea ) seems impossible, getting one in my own country is no problem but that's no good for US stocks. :(

Hi Paul, check out Interactive Brokers they operate in many countries. I'm in Australia and can trade on the US market using them. If they operate in your country they will be fully ligit complying with tax etc.

Hi Paul I use Interactive Brokers also. I’m in Australia. It’s brilliant for US stocks.

Ok thank you I'll look at them can you use leverage and do they have tight spreads? I like the idea of using options the way James uses with the leaps. You don't need lots of time managing it once set.
