The good news is the CT is more impressive than expected. I will update this with a video in the morning but wanted to get mu quick notes out to you all.  It was an unreal experience.  Shout out to all the engineering expertise from Bill who explained to me how everything works on a production line. Bloody Complex to say the least.  But this line is as good as it gets and no wonder the unions are terrified.  It is all mostly automated.

Key Features

First the AWD version has a higher range than expected - 340 miles

Second - the CT has a range extender - not sure how it works but wow it adds 38% more mileage.

Third - not many people noticed this but in the early days people expected the top of the range model to have four wheel steering. But talking to the engineers today I found it all models will have four wheel steering. This is huge this means this thing can literally turn on a dime..

Fourth - pricing is of course higher than expected from four years ago where they said the base model will come out at 39,900 now the base model is about 61,000 but that base model which is just rear wheel drive is not available until 2025 so if you were in the market for the base model it's not gonna come for a while. The other two are available decide released at $99,000 and the all-wheel-drive at basically $80,000

Fifth - the demo showed obviously the beast mode doing not to 60 and 2.6 seconds it also beat a Porsche Turbo towing a Porsche turbo and a quarter-mile sprint. That was just mind blowing.

Sixth - the car is extremely thin talk about a low center of gravity. I measure may be six or 7 inches from the floor of the vehicle inside to the bottom floor of the car see image for details.

Seventh - Secret compartment in the trunk is kind of cool see image for details.

Eight - you can charge a car or your house from the vehicle.. 11.5 kw

Ninth - Drag coefficient: 0.335 - unreal for a vehicle this size

Tenth - windshield wiper is vertical which is very impressive but remember the slope of the front of the car is completely flat so logically when it does snow and the wiper falls down first if you just kick all the snow off the window unlike in the traditional windscreen wipers it has to push it up and get stuck. This actually is not only very aerodynamic but also very logical you think about it and also very efficient because there's only one wiper granted it's a huge wiper.

Eleventh Feature - Electrical system: 48 volts - unreal and very efficient. Cars began 6volts, then 1960 12 volts, now Tesla CT first car to have 48 volt arech and will be future for all tesla products - Benefits of 48-volt electrical systems for electric vehicles: Increased efficiency: Smaller wires reduce resistance and improve efficiency. Improved performance: More power to accessories like air conditioning, headlights, and infotainment systems. Reduced emissions: More efficient energy recovery when braking. Lower costs: Smaller wires and components are less expensive to manufacture.

Specific benefits of 48 volts for Tesla vehicles:

  • Increased range: More efficient use of battery power extends the range.
  • Faster acceleration: Increased power from the 48-volt system accelerates faster.
  • Improved regenerative braking: More energy capture when braking improves overall efficiency.

Twelfth - Tyres - they are huge 35.6 inches - 3 feet or nearly 1 meter.

Thirteenth - car stainless steel body is bullet proof - get ready for the end times.

Fourteenth - Exterior glass: Armored, resists baseball at 70 mph or class 4 hail

Fifteenth - Steer by Wire like a jet airplane - turn on a dime - complement to the 4 wheel steering.

Sixteenth - Air suspension: Electronically adaptive, up to 17 inches of clearance

Seventeeth - Touchscreens: 18.5-inch infinity touchscreen in front, 9.4-inch touchscreen in back

Eighteenth - Sound system: 15 speakers, including 2 subwoofers and distributed amplifiers

Nineteenth - HEPA air filter: Yes

Twentieth - Outlets USB-C and 120V/240V outlets: Yes

Overall - no car like it on earth - NOT EVEN CLOSE. I did not even mention FSD Hardware 4

Hilarious that the 911 on the trailer beat the 911 on the track to 1/4 mile. My notes; 1. CT alloy developed by SpaceX which no other legacy auto has 2. Steer by wire is a massive game changer for future product development 3. 48v architecture is a game changer and CT helps Tesla understand and develop supply chain prior to model 2 launch. 4. the manufacturing lines seem so streamlined and dare I say it almost fully automated.

The one improvement that Tesla could make is to have this car Amphibious. Thatwould make it amazing.
