“There’s a lot of risk in crypto but there’s also risk in classic securities markets. Difference is there’s no rules or disclosures in the former to protect from fraud and manipulation.”

This is both good and bad - bad is the risk - Good is he wants to address it and perhaps the BTC Spot ETF may be the ticket.  The other good is he is aware there is risk in other assets, not just crypto.

As the cryptocurrency market tries to reel from the carnage it suffered over the past weeks, the value of its flagship digital asset has taken another hit after the statements from the United States Securities and Exchange Commission ( SEC) chief Gary Gensler.

2023-01-22 20:12:35 Is it just me , or are we NOT thinking about all the pressure Gensler is under from tradfi to NOT approve etf ?? We all know it would help bitcoin amd it’s price. Seems to me < as ignorant as I am , that it’s the last thing he will do. Aside from the futures and shorts etf. It almost seems obvious to me that he is beholden to BANKSTER BOSSES What do you guys think ? To conspiratorial ?

Can we still post questions in advance for the Sunday Q and A? I would like to know opinions on GBTC in light of Greyscales other questionable funds? Is GBTC still viable since it focuses solely on BTC?
