I am a school teacher, and I don’t have a choice but to pay into a pension plan. I don’t qualify for social security when I retire since I don’t pay into it. I am planning on there being no pension, and am trying to invest as much as possible right now.

I live in Belgium and we pay a lot of taxes but everyone has soc security and minimum pension with soc security but not enough for a good living standard when retired. Our healthcare is very good even for those who have a low income or unemployed (we are blessed for that ). We have a chortage of teachers. They have a lot of benefits here, 2 months payed during the summerholidays, high pension, good healthcare also when retired and so on. Good luck with investing😁
