there is no pivot.....they will raise rates until something breaks and then stop

What the Fed SHOULD do and what the Fed WILL do are likely wildly different. Another poster stated they'll raise rates until something breaks, and then make tweaks. My gut instinct is that is what will happen and we'll need to be prepared with cash on hand for when we get a monumental once in a lifetime 80-90% crash that takes 10, 20, possibly 30 years to recover.
