I started my journey buying BTC at 64k 🤦🏻‍♂️ but by buying the dips (even when really scared) I've brought my average down to 38.5k and managed to get to half coin status My wife, mum and rest of my family have been against me and saying I'm going to lose everything (pyramid scheme etc) but I have kept on buying I know what I have isn't much compared to most in this group but I've wrote this to encourage others to go with your feelings despite what your loved ones say 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

James or anyone... please let me know what you would do at this stage.... my equity is 0.85 of a wholecoiner ! I have bled my fingers to the bones and completely fiated out !! Hoping Sol, Egld & Eth are going to be able to up my equity so I can merge into having the 1 Bitcoin. Or do I consolidate now and be happy with 0.8 of a Bitcoin ?

I would keep what u have . U have good names and is always good to be diversified. Also some of those may double faster and u can then convert over . This is what I would do .

I achieved multiple whole coins in thirds...over time Im a Whole coiner thanks to GBTC....and.... Im a Whole coiner thanks to MSTR Both in IRAs and....best of all Im a Whole coiner thanks to BTC proper. Math....gotta love it. Thanks to you James and this intelligent group!!!

Thanks James for sharing this, I went strong in GBTC with 2120 thats ~ 2BTC earlier this year. Still working on getting my 1 BTC in multiple exchanges, with SOL and ETH about 99% of my crypto holdings. Ideas on how to get to whole coin status: Get a roommate, if you have an extra room and leave near a college, look for an international student, sort-term and they don't move a ton of stuff into your place. Sell crap you don't need on eBay Check out stuff people do on the side on fiverr.com, can you do any of these things? Make extra money working remote Become a dog walker part-time on your own or through an app, basically, get paid to exercise! Be creative!

Any Country can buy all 21 Million Bitcoin for about one trillion dollars…and then just kill the whole thing. What’s to stop them from doing that. One trillion dollars is a drop in the bucket in today’s world. I realize not everyone would sell but what if most did? Then what?

James, YOUR GBTC to BTC calc does not see to reflect the current equivalent per a few other calculators. Is it based on the assumption that GBTC will convert to an ETF or a 0% discount?

Also, curious how 400,000 1BTC holders are determined when many people have percentages at different exchanges, wallets, etc? How can all those bits be calculated? Because alt coins run the fastest during the late stages of bitcoin Bull runs, if your goal is a whole coin, should you try to find a fast horse that could 4-5x during the run? Then sell your alt coin once the value is equivalent to a whole coin?

Could someone please explain me why GBTC is trading at a discount? Is the hypothesis that it will correct when/if converted to a ETF? Would appreciate your insights! 🙏🏻

A question though , given following hypothesis, analysing James review of Matic. Polygon Matic user transactions are 7 million transactions per day, ( 190 x since jan 2021) To compare: it’s x 5 more than Eth network processes. In legacy finance:Visa sees an average of 150 million transactions per day. Therefore , the market is there to be picked up by Matic ( and other layer 2) Tokenomics : 10 bn fixed supply , 6.7bn circ, 1bn released every 6months ( ? ) until august 22. Therefore, supply glut in 2021/2. Coin inflation is +25% in the assumed remainder 6 month period of bull run. (And a further 25% in the rest of 2o22. ) That could be drag on the price, which could be surmounted by good adoption rates continuing. James Co-relation thesis : 5% of Eth mc. 390bn =$19bn. Currently Matic is 3.3%. $13bn Price: Eth $3.3 k = Matic $ 1.33 2021 end of year: $3 ( per James ) That is x2 approx So Why is Matic considered faster horse in the bull run scenario?

Yes, if it's coverted to an ETF, that discount will disappear. That's because an ETF's price almost always trades at or near its NAV(Net asset value). ETFs create and redeem shares all the time, which allows them to trade right at NAV. Trusts have a fixed number of shares, which results in the deviations from NAV.

Smokin’ Joe I am a Nexo user & token holder. Nexo really doesn’t have any utility value other than usage on the Nexo platform . My POV about its tokenomics is that it will slightly outpace the movement of btc during the bull run , but will not fall as much as other mid cap sky coins during the best period . But it’s not a coin to buy as an investment unless you are deriving utility from it, ie reduced borrowing interest rates & improved staking yields! My own position is that I am taking out collaterised loans on btc & Eth and therefore am content to hold a small stack of Nexo ( ie 10% of my deposits ) do I can access the platinum level benefits. Because fiat is a depreciating asset, I see little reason to pay back loans taken ( esp not whilst I can find purchases of appreciating crypto assets ). Hope this perspective is useful to you.

I've been yield farming SOL/ORCA LP tokens on Solfarm at 566% apr. ORCA is ranked pretty far back but it has a great dex and really good tokenomics (max supply 100.000.000). its been holding its value really well. I think Orca might deserve a look. I'm only in for 700 dollars atm but i'm thinking about dropping another 20 SOL into it.
