sorry for the long wait. Here's the update for Promises of a Wandering Hero.

Not the person, but for me, it's kinda ooc since it seems like you've kept Rin attached to Shirou long distance and haven't indicated that she has departed in character development from someone who is reluctant to let people in from canon.

Perhaps. I did make it clear that they are in an open relationship. Rin doesn't exactly have sex with anyone but she picks someone every now and then. Mostly women.

It seemed kinda sudden to me, and it looks like its not ever going to go anywhere, with Rin internally mentioning that she'd probably never deal with the woman ever again. I just didn't see the narrative point. I suppose the point could be to show how Rin has an equitable relationship with Shirou, and a life outside of him, but then the point is kinda undermined by the whole "slept with a woman under false pretenses" thing.

Yes, it is to show that Rin is not beholden to Shirou as much as he isn't to her. Rin didn't sleep under false pretenses. It was a one-night stand. Rin's partner thought they were being an accessory to cheating. Rin later explained herself and they went their separate way because this person was a bit freaked out by the arrangement. Also, I didn't say the partner was a woman. I was purposely vague with their gender.

Flipping hell, I remember talking about this on your spoiler thread back on FFN. Full Moon and Aztecs of course. God, my ancestors would be so fucking pissed at me for never guessing that. Still though, If that means what I think it means, and the Goddess that Shirou talked to is that Goddess...Boy, I know he's been in some deep doo-doo before but this takes the cake.
