omggggg I saw you had Hoshi down and I was so hopeful for Seungkwan and I am so freaking grateful and thankful for the surprise!!!! Seungkwan's feature was such a healing experience for me so I am so, so glad you were able to see it too!

I'm just asking, but do you plan on continuing SVT In the SOOP season 1? Also, Kihyun on Lee Mujin Service is also a good one to watch. His vocals are also godly.

caitlinbenson

Yeah I am lol….it was on the schedule for this month. I just haven’t gotten to it yet :)

Hey i was just wondering when you think would be the best time for you to start the street women fighter and street man fighter, and if you don’t know that’s perfectly okay.

caitlinbenson

Um i don’t really think I’ll react to those. I’m not a dancer and although I know I could still enjoy it to some degree I don’t really think I’ll have much input during it.

Gurleen Singh

I just wanted to know if Blackpink Coachella reaction will be posted to $3 tier😅. Anyways I'll be waiting for it🙌

Hey Caitlin, the song Dreamers Dream that Seungkwan sung is by Lee Seunggi, he was the MC for Peak Time! He is an amazing singer. I know youre swamped but if you have time, please check him out hehe

2023-05-18 03:14:33 NO SHADE AT ALL to Charlie Puth or JK, but I loooooooove this version of Left and Right SO MUCH. Their tones and styles are soooo interesting and it brings a whole different color to the song. Plus watching them clearly have so much fun singing together makes me feel so happy. Hoshi really had brilliant song selection - opening with such a soft and gentle ballad (we get to hear him more like his audition song in sort of more urgent intense sounding ballad mode more often, but the gentle tone is less frequent), and then with the Colde song which I also had never heard before but wowwww he KILLED. Amazing. <3 Hoshi really is underrated for his vocals and so I was so happy he had this chance to shine. Something I love about Hoshi's vocals is his versatility and the rhythmic energy to his vocals - even when he's not rapping, you can tell he feels the groove and the phrasing is beautiful and his vocal lines always feel energetic if that makes any sense. The rap too? I looove the way he handled the rap verse, the first half was more melodic and he kept building the tension, just amazing. Seungkwan. My Boo. I went through a period of time where I watched his LMJ nightly. It is sooooo beautiful and speaks to my heart. I was so excited when I saw you were also doing Seungkwan even though it's older, so I wasn't expecting it. <3 The most beautiful sounds you have ever heard right? Like.... don't you just want to listen to him sing forever??? And hearing LMJ comments after the duet, it really reminded me also how much I love making music with other people and how much I enjoy that feeling of supporting each other through music as well, it really just touched my heart so much. I also think it's soooo interesting the songs he chose - he chose a lot of songs about life and about emotion like - not love songs, which are usually chosen for ballad type songs... so I think it's so interesting he clearly thinks deeply and likes music that touches his soul. He communicates emotional narrative so well it always blows my mind. I can undersand the feeling of the journey of a song before I know the lyrics.

The 2nd song choice that Hoshi picked, “11:11” from Taeyeon, you are indeed remembered correctly. You did hear Taeyeon sing it on Killing Voice. (FYI, the Killing Voice channel finally put subtitles for their video. So now you can check the lyrics and their talking between the songs from Taeyeon, NCT127, and Seventeen.) I just want to share my take on Hoshi’s choice. Hoshi chooses songs from Taeyeon (from SNSD) and Yesung (from Super Junior), two big vocalists and famous ballad singers from SM Entertainment. When you have people who have a level of singing like these two, most idols will be afraid to cover their song due to how hard it is to sing it. But here, you have Hoshi, a performance leader, delivering a beautiful performance for both pieces. This is where you can see all Seventeen members are so talented in all aspects, and still, they all renewed their contracts and stayed as a family. Carat is the most blessed fandom in the world. (FYI, Seungkwan is also a big fan of Taeyeon and did a cover of one of her songs and uploaded it as a gift for Carats on his birthday. He chose “Drawing Our Moment,” the last song Taeyeon performed on the Killing Voice ep, the one that created the most replayed moment on your reaction video. Just leave the link here for anyone who wants to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ChktZQ6Ir8 ) Lastly, thank you for your video, Caitlyn. Hope you have a good day :3

Oh I'm so glad you watched both of them!! I am always impressed by Seungkwan's ability to command emotion and the control he has. I so want him to release a solo song or a mini album with his own power ballad plus maybe a softer poppy song, and whatever other genres he wants to play with. I think it would be really interesting if Hoshi did start engaging in more specific vocal training bc I love his vocal tone and I think it would be so cool if he was given more opportunity to explore his instrument and learn about it from a technical perspective, but I guess that kind of thing comes down to time and whether that interests him! I would love it if Hoshi formally released some more of his songs like Tiger and Horangi power not even with a promotionary period or anything, i just think it would be fun to have them on Spotify lol.

It’s okay if you ever watch it by yourself there’s some idols and famous choreographers like Exo’s and Seventeens choreographers and it’ll help you learn a little more about dance and they have battles in ep1 and a lil of ep2 and then they do a lot of dance performances which i know are different from when idols perform

Aww so happy to get Doyoungs last week and now both Hoshi and Seungkwan thank you! All them did so great, I just love this show so much, Lee Mujin is so great with his guests. As someone mentioned Hoshi singing some of Yesung from Super Juniors song, suxh a great powerful vocalist.. I wondered if he was on your list as well for LM Service? Not sure if he might be but I would highly recommend to watch at some point, no rush. 😊 https://youtu.be/VrZbsoBOSYU
