This is my first NCT comeback and i loved it! My favourite songs were Box and Unknown. I really hope you watch the teasers (in your own time... no pressure at all when it comes to reactions) just because i really think you would love the storyline ideas and cinematography of it. I was soooooo impressed and honestly kind of freaked out by how cool and intense it was. As always thank you for this reaction and i appreciate how much effort you put into it.

I love all tracks in this album as well 🥹 and knowing that most of the members participated in writing lyrics for most of the tracks here, I couldn't be any more prouder 😭 This probably why the album feels more personal. New era for real 👏💯 Another fun fact: MARK is also credited for composition on their song "BOX". 💚

to me this album is for the youth , the people in their early 20s who feel a little lost or not in unison with society and its growing and unbeatable expectations ; i feel like icfa comes as an intro to this project , it speaks of doubts and fear and uncertainty.. i can’t explain but it is so heavenly , i feel transported elsewhere as soon as the first notes come in . Breathing is like a resolution or a reassuring message , softly reminding that there always is a way , a person to rely on . ‘Unknown’ truly moved me as well , it is a beautiful song and i can’t get over haechan’s high note at the end , angel he is ..

i wouldn’t be surprised if this album turns out to be a trilogy or something similar, i feel like it can still grow within its own story and of course in its many messages which apply to the the members themselves as well as the audience they make music for ; i had watched the teasers which i feel were a build up towards a better understanding of the album. It was beautifully done and all the metaphors about wings and dreams forbidden of seeing the light and such were all very cleverly organized it felt like a poem about youth , dreams , growing up and owning your presence in this world , not limiting yourself to certain boxes ☁️

I gonna be honest I heard 2songs on this album (unknown and breathing) and I was balling my eyes out I couldn’t listen to the other songs because it was emotionally draining. Listening with you was so comforting and seeing you cry made everything better (sorry if I am oversharing 😭) this album was amazing definitely my top favorite album of all time

Honestly, I thought nothing could beat SOS and POISON for me, but then 127 released MISTY and I was shocked about how beautiful it was. it was my fav and again, I thought nothing could ever beat that, BUT, UNKOWN just made me so emotional. It's a song that I didn't know I needed, just hear them tell us it's okay to fail and go slow ...the "Take it easy I know you got it" felt like the warmest hug. BOX is also...wow

the cohesion, the production, the concept, the theme, the lyrics, the vocals and delivery etc. all make this album feel like a masterpiece and i have to agree that it’s going to be a tough one to beat. i saw someone on twitter say that it feels like an album that they had to release for themselves and i couldn’t agree more - it feels like a turning point and i’m excited for what’s to come. my favourites are box and unknown but all of the songs are incredible and i love them all dearly. this is a bit of a side note lol but thank you for showing your vulnerability, the meaning (to you) of each song was so clearly shown on your face even when you felt like you lacked words and witnessing that connection was genuinely lovely to watch.

I feel nothing but pride for the dreamies listening to this album to the point where I could cry every time I recall how excited they are to show to us this comeback. Haechan said in an interview that with this concept, they know it could feel unfamiliar even disappointing to fans but they wanted to show to people that “they could do something like this [concept] and that they are good at something like this too” and for me, this album really reflected on how willing they are to grow as artists and as a team. I think this is not a new concept for dream rather just a different side of dream. You can still hear their distinct sound in their tracks which sets them apart from the other nct units and even other idol groups in general. Like what Renjun said, they are still nct dream but dreams are not always good because there can be bad dreams too hence, the production of this album. The album is kinda dark but ironically, it also feels like healing — like a light at the end of a tunnel. It’s like a paradox of being comforted (by dream) because you are suffering together. I love 7dream so much. They never fail to disappoint me whenever they put out new music but this comeback really made me appreciate their artistry ten fold.

"icantfeelanything" reminded me of "Oasis" from NCT U, but more jarring. By reminded of, I mean the soundtrack quality, not that it's exact. Kind of like "Misty" by NCT 127 was like a grand soundtrack for a movie. I didn't really appreciate this mini album until seeing their press conference, hearing their thoughts and then watching your reaction to the MV and album. Sadly, I focused too much on the length of the album and was not focused on how much went into it. It sounded like NCT Dream (as a group) was involved more in the creative process. Fun fact: Haechan really liked "Carat Cake" and it sounded like he was also involved in the song itself, from what I could gather from the press conference. Half of the conference was untranslated, but I used the Korean auto translate to English and it seemed to do okay and gave me the overall sentiments. Whenever I saw Renjun at the conference, all I could think of was how drained and emotional/on the verge of tears he looked. Like literally watery eyes without crying. He seems to be okay now, other than being insulted by 'fans'. I can't wait for their next concert and they seem really excited about it, too.

I listened to this album since yesterday, but I was waiting to see the color coded with translation with you and it was the right choice.. I cried with you during unknown, bcoz that contains words I really need to hear at the moment.. The beat drop in I can't feel enything gave me goosebumps since rhe first time I hear the song, it makes me feel numb, floating in space, just like the title I can't feel anything I really like smoothie and box as well... All of them are good songs, it is the most beautiful and the most comforting album I've ever listened to in my 15 years into kpop ❤️

There were 5 teasers before release MV, each teaser made a story from each b-side songs and it's phenomenal. Their acting also good esp jisung in icantfeelanything. I think you might understand more about theme of album if you watch that (or maybe you've seen it already) anyway this is my album of the year for sure I still can't choose which song is my most favorite cuz all songs are so good lol

I wanted more. The whole album has a vibe!!! I loved all song, obviously some more than others. Unkown is my favourite, especially the chorus, "Dont change, let go, be brave, be strong...." will never get tired of hearing it. They really did a really good song with Dream()scape movies. Each video was dedicated to one song, and over all concept was tied together. For me, didnt spoil anything at all, because they sliced the song soo well. you have no idea what a build up it let to before the song and album dropped. You will enjoy the 'Dirty Smoothie' short vidoes too (or were they teaser??).

I am OBSESSED with Box idk. i loved this EP so much and its such a breath of fresh air at the end (no pun intended lol). My second favorite is Unknown because WOW. Breathing was great as well. I'm so proud of them because with a concept like this album, they really delivered with the song choices. I know that they worked hard for this and you can really tell when listening.

This mini album is somehow their gateway to escape from their usual cute concepts hence the “dream()scape” — “()” according to jeno in an interview, this is the escape door. They are trying to rebrand themselves out from that cutesy concept into a more adulthood but they are still the 7dream that we knew just more mature, if it makes sense. It was somehow portrayed by their short individual films/teaser. Thats why its just a mini album because its their way of reintroducing 7dream as a more mature brand so when they make a full album it wont be a shock. Thats just my thoughts tho. Btw, thank you for these reactions. Dreamies have been outdoing themselves every comeback. I hope that dreamies get to see you reacting to them. Much love 💚💚💚

Late comment, but I just realized why the end of "Smoothie" with the 'SMOOTHIE' end note sounded so familiar. It reminds me of NCT 127's "Boom" from their NeoZone album. The 'SMOOTHIE' had the same effect that 'BOOM' had at the end of "Boom". Kind of fitting since either you or someone else said that it was reminding them of "Kick It" by NCT 127, probably by some of the lyrics and the fact there were action sequences in the "Smoothie" MV. And NeoZone had both "Kick It" AND "Boom". Well...I just realized that the end note of "ISTJ" also had the same effect as "Boom" and "Smoothie".

MY WORD! There is truly no better mindset and advice to give to young people than to encourage them to "Fail Forward". It's a fact of life and it's easily the best way to understand yourself and it's an invaluable mindset to have. YOU. WILL. FAIL. You just gotta keep going. Aaah the Dreamies. They have grown into such mature young men. They have such a handle on what they want to say and convey to their audience (and to young people in general), that's unlike anyone these days. I have THOUGHTS, several, buckle down fellas LMAO. This will be an essay by the end I write them all down first off, just as you said, this is their best work so far. I 100% agree with this. idc what anyone says lmfao I also agree with the ballads related point you made. most of the time they ain't hitting, the melodies have to be extremely interesting and outstanding to compensate for the lack of production. and by "lack", I don't mean it in a negative way. that's just how these songs really go and a song can be good even with minimal production if done right. production doesn't always have to be "busy" either way, for a ADHD bitch like me, if you don't have pots and pans banging in the bg, for the lack of a better way to phrase it, I personally just lose interest real quick. that is unless the vocals are EXCEPTIONAL and the melodies really engage me. but, thankfully, SM groups just manage to tick all my boxes in that regard BUt back to this! It is by far their most mature sounding project, I was personally waiting for this moment. And I say that as the biggest chewing gum/ we young/ etc enthusiast/enjoyer and as someone who has watched and supported them since their rookie days. this also is the most homogeneous work (at least to me) from a sound standpoint, even with the songs that are a bit more up-tempo here. on top of that, I love me a moody and slightly darker sounding yet cohesive album! this feels exciting for me because as much as I love their previous stuff too, this is the first time where one of their albums hits in all the right places from the get-go. just like you said, there'd always be 1 or 2 songs per album that I end up not loving or that are just ok for me or that get old too fast. again, FOR ME. music taste is very personal, I am a picky and particular bitch when it comes to my music. I fully get the people that would think other works of theirs are also masterpieces so icantfeelanything...that was a perfect way for them to start the album, the vibe for that song is so unique and like nothing they've ever done before. it perfectly sets the tone for the songs that follow I feel like I'm the only one who needed some time to really get into the title track. I get it now but it took me quite a few listens to understand it, be able to vibe to it. I ended up loving it more after watching the live stage for it earlier today. JAEMIN's "Shakin', stirrin', drinkin' up/ Hot and spicy, mix it up" has me in a chokehoLD Donghyuck during Box's bridge took me the fuck out. those vocals were mesmerizing and the melody so hunting, play that shit at my funeral on a 3 hour loop. also, that song gave me old school backstreet vibes for some reason? I can't put my finger on it to like... expand as to why, but I mean it as a compliment YALL hear me out and don't hate me for saying this, but carat cake gave me ice spice but make it more complex. in the best way possible, that shit is catchy asf. they're so saucy on it too, they ate that shit upppp my personal favorite has to be unknown. Mark's soothing voice during the chorus is so comforting along with the message itself that he conveys. they all did great but Mark floored me here, along with some of Donghyuck's runs there towards the end. I'll never recover breathing is just gorgeous gorgeous, I don't need to explain why another stand out this album was Chenle, his runs were TOP NOTCH, I personally noticed a huge improvement as far as he goes compared to the previous comeback. like I know he's been SANGING since day 1 and he's always been among the most stable in NTC overall, but this is just... HUGE respect

I cried with you, girl. We're on the same page right now and it feels great to have someone who understands. I'm also in my last year of nursing school while working as a writer. It's definitely hard to balance things especially when your mind isn't in the right place. I found myself dreading to do what I've been doing for the past years. Now, I still don't know what truly make me happy. I still don't know what I want in this life. I'm still in a rough place, so I wasn't able to enjoy this comeback to the fullest. Seeing people discredit the dreamies just because of the charts and their personal preferences also exacerbated my sadness. However, listening to the album provided me great comfort. It was so cohesive and well-written, and I can't wait to see it performed during tds3. Hopefully, during their next comeback, I'll be in a mentally better place. I hope you're doing okay too.

I was the exact same during Unknown! It's gone straight up there with the special Dream songs (Teddy Bear, Graduation, etc). What an absolutely gorgeous song, gorgeous lyrics, I'm so happy Mark fought to promote it too. You've been going through a lot, so don't be too hard on yourself! I totally understand feeling like you're not doing enough though, I often feel like that. But I have to remind myself that the only person putting those expectations on me is me - gotta give yourself leeway for reasonable expectations! (I know it's only from an outside perspective, but to me you're killing it!!)
