I absolutely love you, but I will say as someone whose family rescues exotic animals, sometimes sanctuaries are the best place for them. Once they are out of captivity for a certain amount of time, they unfortunately lose instincts and if they aren’t kept in sanctuaries, then they are usually euthanatized or if someone manages to release them into the wild, which is actually illegal, then they will die out there because they won’t know how to find shelter, food, or will go back to humans and get shot because they know humans will have food for them. It’s very unfortunate and luckily my facility doesn’t believe in breeding in captivity but zoos are different and buy and sell animals to make a profit, although not all zoos are like this, it is something that some do and it is quite heartbreaking, but some facilities truly love and take care of their animals and use them for educational purposes!
