Ok, so you don't have to watch all the shows with Luke cage, Iron fist or Jessica jones, but I seriously recommend watching the defenders. It's only 8 episodes and it's important for matts story and character arc in season 3. It also has some other characters from daredevil, not just matt, and they're important in it too. You're gonna wanna watch daredevil season 3 before you watch punisher season 2 tho, that's the watch order. Again, of course you don't have to watch the defenders, but you should at least try watching a couple of the first episodes to see if you like it.

realistically, you dont have to watch Defenders but definitely watch a breakdown/recap of what happens in The Defenders before watching DD Season 3. Also have to watch DD S3 before Punisher S2, so I guess DD Season 3 is next up and i'm so excited you dont understand, its so good.

I dont think you need to watch daredevil or defenders before watching punisher season 2 if you dont want to

after watching both shows many times id say punisher S2 should be next then DD S3 but it really doesn't change anything timeline wise of it. you can watch either one first but id say pun S2
